Surely you know that PP7 does more than defend..
yes, he is a good return man. although not so good his rookie year, which is what we are talking about (since dee is such a massiv ebust after one year). peterson returned 33 punts for 198 yards his rookie year, or 6 yards per return. not good

edit. oops, i was looking at the wrong year. hes getting worse at retuns

I've already said he was a bust. Move along and try to defend Bo not being one with the rest of your ilk.

So Terrell Davis and Bo Jackson are bust? Wow. The NFL will tell you different.

Yeah but he knows Bo personally. He met him 4 times. I have only met him twice and followed his career with a microscope. He can look at stats and understand how good a player is. Or just get exclusive interviews with him. The whole 30 for 30 was CGI and espn made up their own story about Bo and what really went down with Tampa.

Get with the program thirdlawson. Preach graves!!!!!

i was looking at the wrong year on espn. they list earlier years above later, whereas nfl stats does the opposite.

Yeah not even close. Not even taking into consideration PP7's value as a return man, those stats are useless without including "thrown-at" and TDs given up. Nice try though.

So are you willing to call Milliner a bust when he had more INTs and passes defended in less games than PP did his rookie year? Milliner will be great.

Understandable. He isn't as involved in the return game anymore because teams don't generally let their best defensive player do that.

Not at all. I just said in the other thread that Claiborne and milliner are both is bad systems (for their strengths) and both are underperforming, and will continue to do so, until they move on to other teams. I think both guys will end up having good careers if they get into the right system and can stay healthy

Wouldn't that be the very definition of mitigating circumstances for Claiborne and Milliner, though? "Bust" is highly pejorative, so labeling someone thusly because of a draft process they had no control over landing them on a team they don't fit well into tends to contraindicate the term "bust" until they've proven they just aren't that good in general. It's like all those players who disappeared into the gaping black hole that is Oakland over the years -- they were hamstrung from the very beginning.

PP7 brought more to the table his rookie year for sure than did Dee. To say otherwise proves your ignorance.

It's no different than labeling someone a bust because of injury IMO. While it may not be exactly fair it's the truth. When a player comes in and underperforms, for any reason, they are a bust. That's just the way I view it.

Your debating skills need some work.

Looking at stats and years played, is he a bust?

Except I didn't say that. I guess I could retort with something about your reading comprehension, but I won't..
