The AP does not really matter but at least it gives us something to talk about.

After FSU's game last night I am ok with them being listed ahead of UGA after 1 game. I will also say that Clemson could get worked by FSU if Winston continues to grow cause they have a pretty solid Defense.

Your team actually looks awful. Give up 344 passing yards, gain 99 passing yards. Lose in TOP and 3rd down conversions to Wazzou?

I like this swap.

4. Clemson

Up from 8, as they should be after beating Georgia.

5. Stanford

Down a spot to make room for Clemson.

6. South Carolina
7. Texas A&M

Stagnant.

8. Louisville
9. LSU
10. Florida State
11. Georgia
12. Florida

Louisville moves up a spot naturally, LSU moves up 3 spots after beating a top 20 team. Florida State looked good, jumps Florida. Now Georgia loses and falls to 11, while Florida falls two spots after a meh performance to accommodate Georgia's new spot.

Arky did well. Can't mess with you for that win at all. Could have been tough but you handled your business.

I thought so, too. And the return of JFF exceeded the hype. In so many ways.

I hope A&M's defense is a lot stronger when all the starters are back on the field. Otherwise there might be a few 52-49 scores, going either way for the Aggies.

Has nothing to do with your comments about Tennessee which is what I quoted.

Like I said, you know shite.

I think the only reason OSU was ever #2 to start with was because voters didn't know what to think about Oregon's new coaching staff. Once they came out and showed they were still Oregon, voters were ready to put them ahead of the Buckeyes.

I agree with the above

If USC beats Georgia do we jump Clemson?

For some reason I doubt it, even though we play them on the road and Clemson had them at home.

Shocked that UGA fell out of the top 10 really.

The middle tier teams are exceptionally bad and the bottom tier are damn near putrid.

wayyyy off. Kentucky is the only team that probably couldn't compete in a shitty bowl game by year's end. The middle of the pack teams are better than ever. OM, Vandy, AR would all be playing for 10 wins in some other BCS conferences. At least one or two of Tenn, Mizzou, and Auburn should be solid.

Crazy that theoretically 5 teams currently in the top 10 could finish undefeated and only two of them get a shot at a NC. Playoff can't get here soon enough.

It isn't just the loss to Clemson. It's also the loss of Malcolm Mitchell.

Agree and I think as long as Oregon is winning, they'll remain #2. As for OSU, expect us to drop the next 3 three weeks with cupcakes if the doors aren't blown off of them. No real challenge until week 5.

NO bad feelings SC but I want Georgia to win so they are still in the top 10 when LSU plays them. Just beat up on them like we did Bama for aTm last year

Clemson sitting at #4 is the reason I hate preseason polls. Clemson did something this week that neither Alabama, Oregon, or Ohio St. did, beat a top-5 team. Yet, Alabama, Ore. and OSU remain ahead of Clemson simply because they started there and didn't lose. Voters should reward a team for accomplishing something, as opposed to just leaving teams in place until they lose. Arguably, Clemson should be ranked No. 1 THIS WEEK, or at worst, No. 2 behind Bama. Now two weeks down the line if Bama beats A&M, then they should jump back to #1 with wins over a top 10 team and BCS conf. opponent, but for today, Clemson would be my #1
