Absolutely - support your team to the bitter end. But scream from the highest mountain until the filth is finally once and for all purged from your school and athletic department.

Since you already have 2 mascots maybe you should get a 3rd, the ostrich.

Some of the members of the family need to learn the difference between loyalty and denial, though.

Part of loving someone is recognizing that they make mistakes and loving them enough to help them improve themselves. Lying for them helps no one.

You gotta admit it LSU fans,( I'm LSU fan), that if LSU was on the way to a Possible National championship in 2003 and this stuff came up with one of our athlete's we would be back that athlete up and LSU all the way also.

Funny how you go back to 2003 to make that point.

You're right, a lot of LSU fans wouldn't back up Les or our current players.

That's just because we suck as a fan base.

Not saying we should back up a cheating scandal and I doubt we would, know I wouldn't.

But we hate the man that has the best winning percentage in our history, doesn't cheat and is loved and respected by his team.

Too bad we didn't hire someone more like chizik or mahlzan. (how many teams has he ruined now by the way?)

auburn fans have been getting a bad rep for having our heads in the sand.

regardless of the outcome of this case... you guys have been in the most case of extreme denial i have ever witnessed in a fanbase over a particular matter.

no one was willing to accept it for what it all looks like... and in all likelihood probably is.

auburn fans deserve a beating for how delusional they have seemed.... it's kind of like evolution. it may not be how it happened... no one was there.. but DAMN if it doesn't seem like the theory of evolution makes total sense.

You're a dumb arse. Denial would be continuing on like nothing happened after a conviction. Nobody has been convicted yet, and from the current perspective nobody on this board can prove anything one way or the other. Most of the Auburn fans are in the middle hoping for the best, but expecting the worst. Yeah we're probably fricked but why start hating now, when we can atleast have a small amount of optimism for the time being.

Pretty good post. There nothing wrong with supporting your team, especially when nothing has been proven yet.

For Auburn, the rest of this season & the dilemma whether to play Cam Newton is like getting drunk & sleeping with a chick that your friends have warned you about.

In a drunken state, you have sex with the girl without protection, knowing better, & enjoy the pleasure. When in reality, for a few minutes of pleasure, you end up getting burned with a std in the long run. In the case of War Eagle, there is no bottle of pills to get rid of their burn.
