auburn fans have been getting a bad rep for having our heads in the sand.

most of us probably realize there is a good possibility of auburn being in trouble at some point. but give us this, we are auburn fans and will stand by them if it all goes away or it blows up in our face. we will be auburn fans and ride the sinking ship all the way down....

we have a loyal fanbase and that is evident to say the least.

who wants a bunch of fair weather fans anyway....
at this point we are "ALL IN".

I think you can say this about a "fan" of any school. That's what a "fan" is. It's nothing specifically related to Auburn.

How is your fanbase continuing to put its collective head in the sand a statement of your loyalty?

You gotta admit it LSU fans,( I'm LSU fan), that if LSU was on the way to a Possible National championship in 2003 and this stuff came up with one of our athlete's we would be back that athlete up and LSU all the way also.

Just saying !!!!!

Blindly supporting anything and everything auburn is part of the problem. Pat Dye? Lowder? These guys disgrace aub before and what does the fans allow it to happen again? Honor Pat Dye etc. etc.

Very good post. As much as I hate AU right now, I will be rooting for them once that sanctions hit. I always like to see the team that doesn't have the horses to compete, slip up and win one every now and then.

gotta love the Aubie jackasses trying to debunk me over a week ago when I explained to them that this DID happen and Auburn was likely in deep doo doo.

I see nothing wrong with supporting the University. But there is nothing wrong with calling foul when it does something wrong.

If this was happening at Arkansas I would be pissed! I would still support my hogs but I wouldn't hesitate to admit we broke the rules and I would expect heads to roll in its administration.

No matter what the outcome now Auburn's 2010 season will always be seen as tainted. Auburn and the SEC now have a black eye due to these shady dealings.

Alot of the nation believes the SEC is dirty and this just adds fuel to the fire.
