I hope Danny has nothing. I am tired of hearing about the SEC and cheating. It's time to move forward.

This is bad for the SEC.

Either Danny is lying or is being lied to by a friend that convinced him the information came from the NCAA.
I think Sheridan has a source he trusts who ran with a rumor and Danny took it hook, line and sinker. Sheridan, largely due to his ego, has now painted himself in a corner and his best option is just to shut up and let his role in the story die.

It's either this or the source says frick it go ahead and tell them I was your source. It sounds to me like the NCAA just wants to know what Sheridan knows so they can figure out the best way to sweep all the Cam stuff under the rug.

It was only a matter of time. I'm actually surprised it was as civil as it was for this long. It was kind of nice.

The NCAA is running out of leads and wants to paint the picture that they have left no rock unturned. The fact they want to interview Sheridan who received 'info' from a leak inside the NCAA suggests to me that this investigation will soon come to a close.

This. If danny didn't tell us a couple weeks ago becuase he was worried about someones livelyhood what sense does it make to go to said persons boss and say they're leaking information. Same result. If saying it on the radio would have got that person fired, then so will telling the boss.

You did notice that he lawyered just in time for the NCAA to "talk" to him, right?

And his new lawyer will aid him in doing just that.

"Mr. Sheridan tried his best to be helpful, but he could not reveal to the NCAA everything that he knows without putting his source at risk."

And Danny gets on another front page and in another sports section. "Hey! Look at me!"

This is kinda what I was thinking with my last post. Auburn is extremely fortunate that lame politics didn't get involved in the Cam situation like it did with the Means situation in Memphis. The Federal office in Memphis apparently had nothing better to do than convict a dangerous criminal Logan Young for the "crime" of paying people associated with a recruit money for that recruit. Because LY was such a threat to law abiding citizens....or better yet the UT prosecutors in the case...he had to be removed from the streets for the danger to society he was. The exact same thing happens in the Cam situation and in the words of the infamous Finebaum caller..IT'S NOT A CRIME!!!!

Is Danny even still alive, he looks like he has been dead for a few years. I think they just prop him up and work his jaw with a coat hanger.

Yeah, but after the FBI was done with LY, don't you think the REC took it just a little too far?
