Looks like the worst 15 teams are finishing and nobody made a big move. The top 15 are going to start in the next couple of hours, playing for 8 spots.

Five SEC schools in contention for those eight spots.

Beginning to think this course doesn't match up well with Bama. They will qualify, but it will be hard to win it unless they figure this course out.

SC is charging.

Could be Bama/SC in the 1st round.

Match play will eliminate that lead, but they have to be the favorite.

Stanford and UCLA dominate sports like this. Who wouldn't want a degree from one of those schools and participate in one of their sports?

I know it completely doesn't matter. It's just crazy they have a 10 stroke lead right now.

Poor kid from South Carolina needs an eagle to get into the playoff.

Edit: he took a penalty stroke, so he is out of the race for the individual title.

This poor kid from South Carolina is choking hard.

Edit: double bogey on the last hole.

Despite the fact that Will Murphy double bogied to end the day and knock them out of the top 8, it is not his fault as he had a tremendous round.

He finished bogey/double tho... tough ending to a good round. USCe needed those strokes too.

How do they break the tie between LSU and Bama? Playoff? It matters because it determines each team's first opponent. Good playing LSU.
