Clemson has a lot of non-student/alumni fans though. And obviousy Clemson is a big hit amongst Florida people given all the studs we get out of that state.
Clemson has an Oregon type branding now, WR university.
Ask yourself why players like C J Spiller and Sammy Watkins and Artavius Scott want to leave Florida and play at Clemson.

sure, but almost every school has side-walk fans.
Here's a chart of enrollment at the schools form 1945 to 2005.

If you mean branding as in "Name two teams who expected to win the natty last year and didn't" then I concur. Otherwise, GTFO.

yes, but your assumption is all those alumni stay in SC. Given business seems to be about the only thing SC cares about, it seems like many SC alumni would have to move to bigger cities out of state to work in finance and the like.
I have lived in Florence, Charleston, Columbia, Aiken, and Greenville. Only area I would say SC has a dominant prescene is Aiken but Georgia might be the most dominant in Aiken because AIken is basically east Augusta.
I can give an edge to SC in Columbia too given the school is located there. My opinion the upstate and Pee Deed and Charleston/low country is more Clemson land.

how can any team be expected to win. there isn't much difference b/t the top teams, and fumble luck decides many games. ask Winston about that.

You have a mancrush on Winston or something? You seem obsessed with him.

I hate rapists. Always have.
I won't apologize for that.

Maybe, but everyone has fans in various amounts almost everywhere. I also think that a fair amount of alumni do stay in state. SC isn't as a transient state/area like a DC/Maryland/NorthernVA or ATL are.

I really want to see what Clemson looks like without Morris. I think y'all take a few steps back and just fade away into ACC obscurity

Get the frick outta here with that bullshite. There's been one AU poster in this entire thread who made one post on the 2nd page after you started railing on AU. You wanted to act like a jackass about AU's trees, yet you goofy fricks stick a rock under plexiglass. frick off outta here.

Zoom in to see the top percentages in each area.
Texas, Michigan, Ohio State, Notre Dame have very large fan bases.
That map is bullshite.
There are more South Carolina and Clemson football fans in Charlotte than there are UNC fans. Especially South Carolina fans which is closer to Charlotte than either Clemson or UNC.
What's really bullshite about it is the massive and sudden percentage change when you cross the border SC/NC border ... it is nonsense.

If ever there were two words in the English language that rightfully belonged next to each other in reference to the ACC, it would be these two.

regardless, there are a lot of fans of both schools in the state. we probably splitting hairs here. It didn't get to be an intense state rivalry without lot of fans of both schools.

You see what we deal with guys? Clemson think they're like ND historically and a modern Oregon.
I imagine you could find a few of them that think their academics are Ivy League worthy too.

Morris play calling was big reason we lost to SC 5 years in a row.
You forget our new OC's called the game against SC this year which was our most impressive win this season.

Against the worst Gamecock defense since the mid-'90s and the worst Gamecock team in a decade.

hard to say Clemson, FSU, Virginia Tech, Miami, BC, G Tech are obscure programs. All have had some success and all ACC programs have had more success than SC..

You talk in circles more than any one person I have ever seen in my entire life.
Your points are all over the place and don't even have shite to do with one another or the person you directed your response to if you scroll back thru this thread and read them.
