lol I wasn't spouting any delusions of grandeur, i'm just wondering why a SC student is beating up on Clemson football given Clemson has owned the rivialry, beat auburn 2 times in a row recently, and is the better college in SC, and doesn't have a perverted mascot.

And there are nearly as many Alabama fans in Davidson County as there are UT fans. Just taking a drive through the county on any given day and tallying the Alabama stickers to UT proves my point. But then again, maybe you are not from Davidson county?

Do you deny ND has a similar tradition to CLemon's. They touch something prior to a game. The thing they touch is actually in the locker room I believe. I think touching a rock at top of a hill before running down the hill (also known as the Mmost Exciting 25 seconds in College football per USA Today) is more fun than touching something in a locker room.
Regardless it is other program's fans who always talk about the rock thing. Auburn fans brag about rolling their own campus. Surprised they don[t egg it and leaving burning bags of poop all over the place too.

I am in fact insecure in my sexuality. I am not well endowed and it isn't even operable.
I never said Clemson was elite. I think it is high 2nd tier. Outside of Bama and OSU and Oregon and FSU, who really has a consistent elite program right now. Most of the old powers suck now. Really no defense in SEC anymore.

Clemson been better past 15 years than ND except ND's one year they got to the title game but that was somewhat dubious based on who they played that year.
Clemson and ND do lead the country in terms of gameday lore and football atmosphere.

SC isn't overwhelmingly pro-SEC, if SC even counts as SEC.
G Tech seems more like a national school than a Georgia school and they obviously have higher academic standards than Georgia which is why UGA is usually better.
I also think FSU has at least as many fans as Florida does.

Clemson has some dumb athletes no doubt.
SC could not get any of the talented dumb athletes pre-Spurrier.
All I know if the wheels are falling off under Spurrier, the future is not bright for SC football.
I never seen so many recruits bail on a program as they did with SC this year.
