The Navy football team will wear Under Armour-Designed "Navy Fleet" uniforms and hand-painted helmets for the Army-Navy Game presented by USAA on Dec. 12 at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia at 3 PM on CBS.

The uniform is inspired by and pays homage to seven of the historic ships that make up the U.S. Naval Fleet. Each ship is detailed on one of seven hand-painted helmets that each player will wear.

Navy's badass helmets for Army game have hand-painted ships, custom for each position group

I am glad my tax dollars are being used for this, unlike the 80% of other shite that I wish they were not.

Now if Army would just put different weapons systems on their helmets: Abrams tank for D Line, Apache helicopter for receivers, Howitzer for QB, etc.

That design looks like something that would be painted on a decorative plate.

Ole Miss has never been to an SEC Championship, and NEVER had a 10 win regular season.

Those are probably the first attempted "slick, modern" helmet designs that have ever been good.

They really should just use those full time.

The last time Florida beat Tennessee, Hurricane Katrina hadn't made landfall and Nick Saban was still the coach of the Miami Dolphins.

• Linebacker: Cruiser
• Defensive Back: Destroyer
• Wide Receiver: Submarine
• Lineman: Amphibious Assault Ships
• Quarterback: Aircraft Carrier
• Running Back: Littoral Combat Ship
• Kicker/Special Teams: Minesweeper

well in the old days I would say, OLine = carrier and DLine = BB, but we don't have BB's anymore.
