During times of war you are correct. In peace time they only want poster boys. Hell they are trying to get rid of senior NCOs with combat experience through any means necessary.

Those Navy helmets are neat looking helmets.
My Dad was in the Army and I would go with him to drills sometime so Go Army. But they'll probably lose again this year especially since Navy has such a good squad.
I really liked the Army camo football uniforms and helmets they had some years ago.
