Trustmark has hosted the C-USA Tournament several times and the Braves management does a great job. The problem with Pearl is lack of hotel space without some TEAMS, not to mention fans, having to bus 20-30 minutes for a game. The stadium is really nice and the locals will support it.

If Mississippi wants a chance at the SEC Baseball Tournament, then they should get behind a Biloxi bid. No problem with hotel rooms, great things for the fans to do outside of the tournament, and a unique setting right by the Gulf of Mexico on US 90. But, it may be too small.

Regions Field is very nice, the only drawback would be parking for a tournament. It seats 8,500 but you could sell another 1,000 standing room only tickets easy. The concourses beyond the seating, especially the kids areas, would be a great place to go if you're taking the kids to the tourney games.

There is a large vacant lot just the other side of the railroad tracks that could be converted to RV parking though. I don't know who owns it, but I've seen a dozen or more busses lined up there for school field trips. There is also a large parking lot near Innovation Depot that could be used. Plus you would have a ton of SEC grads that work downtown just walk over to the games.

The suites are pretty nice too. I've been up there a couple of times.

Regions Field would be awesome. Right across the street from a brewery along with plenty of other stuff to do, whereas Hoover sucks. As it's been pointed out, parking is the only issue.

Wut? Arkansas would draw plenty in Memphis, there's a reason they are playing the Tiggers at Autozone these days, a home game in Memphis, over 7,000 last year.

Lets's all remember that the Cardinals own that park now, if they want to bid for it, it will be taken seroiusly. Plenty of infrastructure. Across the street from basically 4 hotels within a block, two more coming plus several others downtown. There's Beale and all the development happening in South Main that will be online by the time the SEC would come around. The micro distillery will open later this year. This isn't Whitehaven, Frasier or Hickory Hood, this is the ongoing gentrification area of Memphis.
