You all have been cleaning house recruiting on the OL.

Should be one of the top 5 lines in the country again with four future NFL draft picks.

That would be a first, top Olines do not leave the QB running for his life every passing play.

Our starters will be solid-to-great, but we lack depth.

LT - Laremy Tunsil - Soph
LG - Aaron Morris - RS Junior
C - Ben Still - RS Junior
RG - Justin Bell - RS...Junior?
RT - Fahn Cooper - JUCO xfer Junior

Back ups will be:

Robert Conyers - RS Soph - C/T
Daronte Bouldin - RS Fresh - G
Rod Taylor - True Frosh - G
Davion Johnson - RS Fresh - G
Darone Bailey - RS Senior - shitty

I've seen that Jeremy Liggins will play Tackle now, too. This is what I had originally hoped would happen. He was athletic enough at 300 lbs to get a shot at QB. He could be a monster OT.

Next year they will be sick nasty, though. Especially if we pick up Drew Richmond and Javon Patterson this off-season.

Sure. I completely understand.

With that said, I provided a pretty extensive breakdown of my best guesses.

I'm fairly certain TAMU will have the best line in the league for the 3rd straight season. for some reason Cedric Ogbuehi isn't on that list even though he's going #1 in most nfl mock drafts. Jarvis Harrison at 14 is cool tho.

Cheek is at guard now? I know Stuckey was moved.

Yes...Cheek is a Guard now.

A&M will have two 1st Round picks next year alone (Cedric and Jarvis). Think what you want, but your team won't have this.

BTW, Dale, you are a dumbass. Who was running around for their life? JFF? Because he can and did? His line gave him 8-9 seconds a play...I haven't seen one that good in a long time. EAD

Arkansas:

LT: Dan Skipper - 6'10, 315 - SO
LG: Cameron Jefferson - 6'6, 305 - SR
C: Mitch Smothers - 6'4, 314 - JR
RG: Denver Kirkland - 6'5, 348 - SO
RT: Brey Cook - 6'7, 328 - SR

Backups won't be settled until the fall and some might shuffle positions but the pool of reserves that will play are listed. The first four could all push for starting spots at LG, RT or C. I would not be at all surprised to see Brian Wallace start at LG this year like Dan Skipper did last year before sliding out to RT next year when Brey Cook graduates. He's probably going to be too good to keep on the sideline for long.

OT - Brian Wallace - 6'6, 305- FR
OG - Luke Charpentier - 6'4, 320 - SR
OC - Frank Ragnow - 6'6, 291 - FR
OG - Sebastian Tretola - 6'5, 315 - JR
OG/OT - Grady Ollison - 6'5, 309 - JR
OG - Cordayle Boyd - 6'3, 298 - JR

I expect this to be a top 6 OL in the SEC again this year. Pittman is an elite coach and it looks like it should be a solid bunch again. In 2015, our line should push for tops in the league as the young guys continue to get better.

Our line was the consensus #1 in the country in 2012 and one of the top 5 last year. Manziel had all day to throw most of the time, his scrambling largely wasnt for a lack of protection.

Would like to see this "consensus." A&M had a great Oline that year for sure. But Bama's was the best in 2012.

It's crazy. Jerry Jones was an OL at Arkansas back in the '60's and now this year our starting OL will average around 6'6.5 and 322.

FIFY

LSU's line will definitely be one of the best. We were the first team in the SEC to have two 1,000 yd WR's, a 1,000 yd RB, and a 3,000 yd QB last year. You don't do that without a very good OL.

Last year we lacked depth. We've got some good players coming in. Just picked up 4* OL Jevonte Domond 6'6", 305-pound, from Glendale Community College (Arizona). He's got three years to play.

I think we'll have a lot of freshman playing early this year. My best guess...

LT: John Theus / Mark Beard / Dyshon Sims (TF)
LG: Mark Beard / Isaiah Wynn (TF) / Jake Edwards (TF)
C: David Andrews /Josh Cardiello / Hunter Long
RG: Greg Pyke / Brandon Kublanow / Jake Edwards (TF)
RT: Kolton Houston / Watts Dantzler / Kendall Baker

The starters are pretty accurate, Kublanow might be one of the OGs. Not as sure about 3rd string. If I didn't list a guy here that is on the roster, I don't expect them to ever contribute for us.
