If we are talking top 5 programs as in what they have done recently or who is most likely to win a national championship in the next few years the list would be the same as your list but replace Oklahoma with FSU.

It's going to be Alabama, Clemson, and Ohio State competiting for the title for the next 5 years unless someone gets hit with sanctions. Throw in a wild card each year of Michigan, FSU, the real USC, and maybe Auburn if Stidham is the real deal. For the people who think Clemson could fall at anytime you must not follow recruiting at all. LSU does not want to pay a coach until Saban leaves, then they will return. I can't blame them. There are only 4-5 teams with the talent each year to have a legit shot, this year there are 3. If Washington starts getting some top 10 classes they could enter into the discussion. Oklahoma is overrated when it comes to the national stage. We made them look like a JV team the last 2 years. At the end of the day Baker is a walk on and Perine is a 3 star. Both can light it up until they have to face NFL type defenders.

Seriously LSU would've made this list 5 yrs ago. Hell, maybe even 2 yrs ago to some folks. Your leadership has taken a potential top 5 program and turned it into a top 20 program. If they still have a job 2 yrs from now then you guys just don't want to be elite.

If all-time then Michigan is certainly in there. But then so would be Notre Dame, USC, and Army, and how much sense do those make today? Michigan had a losing season as recently as '14, and another losing conference record in '13. It sure looks like Harbaugh has them turned around, but I think top 5 is premature. Screw you, Auburn, but I'd pick them at #5 over Michigan despite their schizophrenia.

All Time:
1. Alabama
2. Oklahoma
3. tOSU
4. Michigan
5. ND

First out: USC

This year (end of season):

1. Alabama
2. Michigan - turnovers and a QB less than 100% were the difference; UM looked like/played like the better team most of the game
3. Clemson
4. tOSU
5. Washington

First out: USC

The best overall, most consistent programs the past 2-4 seasons.

Alabama
Ohio State
Clemson
Florida State

Thrown in whoever you want for #5.

LSU is right around a #15 program right now.

Beat Louisville in the Bowl and give O, Canada and Aranda a year to get everything in-synch.

We're not that far off, but not there yet.

Got to get that Offense going and that's what Canada was hired for...............
