That OL will not do Mason any favors. Missed the bowl game but they gave 4 sacks to GT. If they don't improve greatly, all those skill players won't get the ball.

As you should I think your season revolves around the maturation of Hutson Mason. UGA has a plethora of weapons on offense and what should be a much improved defense. I don't see anyone beating UGA in the East this year.

I like this guy.

As a general rule, UGA's OL is solid at home or at a neutral site (USCe, LSU, UF in '13) and struggles on the road (Clemson, AU, GT)

I'm afraid that this is the season that eliminates the last of the Disney's. Also, this should have gone on the Georgia board, you're not going to get many useful responses here.

Mason held onto the ball too long in the first half and caused about 3 of those sacks. Literally running into one of them.

I agree on the OL, they have to improve. But you cant base it off of one game. Thats too small a sample size.

Why would someone brag about not reading something that was actually more than 2 or 3 sentences long? Why is that something to be proud of? While using an annoying-arse GIF to do so.

Careful now... You are letting your Jefferson show here with the Gif hatred. Tuck that dawg back under there for now.

What was UGAs best win in 2012? I know the East was weak that year.

Georgia finished 12-2
South Carolina finished 11-2
Florida finished 11-2
Vandy finished 9-4

The East ended the season with more ranked teams than the West.

While true, that is all we have so yes the jury is still out on ihm working with the otherplayers. But an OT win and a loss is not very good in the post Murray UGA era.

And those were the first 2 starts of his career and they happened to come in the last 2 games of the season. Now he'll have a whole offseason throwing and getting chemistry with the starting wide receivers and starting o-line. I don't take too much away from those games other than he got some valuable game experience from start to finish.

The "holding the ball too long" wont get worked out until live games start. That would be a concern but not much else.

My take on the OL is that I'm concerned about it, but we benefit from how our early schedules sets up. Clemson has a very good DL, one of the best ones we will face, but Corey Crawford is already suspended. We're simply going to run right at Beasley and dump screens off his way I would assume. Gurley probably gets 30 touches. Plus, the game is at home, which will be much easier on a mediocre OL.

Then we get a week off to review how we performed against one of the better DLs we'll face.

Then we play USCe who should have a pretty weak DL relative to past years.

Ppl will laugh but I think UT will give that OL fits if they have not figured it out by then.

Uf and AU will be the only other DLs that will be tough for yall.

With UT, Mizzu and KY having poor years, you are going to have at least three teams with 5 conference wins, throw in the 4 OCC games and you will see at least 9 wins before the bowl games. How did the Big 3 do against the better West teams, or did they play them ?

Certainly possible. They have at least some talent along the DL, but absolutely no experience. I would assume since it's later in the year and at home that we would be fine, but I could see us coming out flat and laying an egg too.
