Was it a name Les planted to them upon leaving or was it someone they have, as a team apparently, thought about before last night?

That was a shock when Saban lost to them because I never thought he could lose to a program as bad as ULM

Although he did win NC's at both schools 2 years after those embarrassing losses.
ETA: 3 years for LSU

Interesting. Pretty juicy news honestly.

nice edit.

Obviously there are many, many factors at play here. I do not expect this go as a typical head coaching transition would, though. I don't foresee the exodus of recruits or juniors. Most here are joking but, some need to wake up and realize the caliber or talent Les has left behind and what LSU truly represents in terms of oppprtunity.

It does not matter. They are going to talk out of their asses anyways.

We are loaded with young talent. Right guy will immediately have success. This isn't Lsu from the 90's anymore. We're stacked with young talent.

O is demonstrably a worse head coach than Miles.

its not like we sucked all these years. we just need to get over the wall.

That is what every blue blood thinks when they replace a coach. Texas fans said the same thing. The reality is the new guy wants players to fit his system and it takes time. You will be making excuses for reasons to have patience by this time next year. Always happens.

A great coach should compete for a championship in year 2.
