The study cited identical twins in which one was straight and one was gay. If they share the same genes, then that could not be the case if being gay was genetic. A large percentage of male figure skaters are gay. Did they turn gay as figure skaters or become figure skaters because they were born gay? Same thing with lesbian basketball players.

You identify homosexual individuals. You submit questionnaires to their families to identify differences from the surrounding population. That's what happened here. Mothers and maternal aunts had larger amounts of children. The maternal aunts is very important because that means that the difference is likely genetic rather than simply being raised in a larger family. It suggest for followup research that there is an increased likelihood for a genetic expression that in women results in more children.. and in men results in homosexuality.
You might understand that if you knew anything about science, anything about the subject or even bothered to try and research.
Incidentally, as someone who is trained to research both scientifically and legally, you should approach this from a scientific standpoint:
1. Make an Observation
2. Ask a Question
3. Form a Hypotheses
4. Devise an Experiment
5. Collect Data.
6. Analyze Data and form a conclusion. That happened here.
Legal Research FYI is all about supporting the argument that your client wishes you to present, not about finding the truth :)

The study you linked was based on a questionnaire. It says so.
It says NOTHING about the genetic factors. Your study deals with the psychological factors and questions whether or not they could be genetic. It does no real genetic research.
