It's a generational difference...as in my generation grew up accepting and supporting gay people because we knew and were friends with so many. Once you know people you start to understand them. Kinda like when they desegregated the schools. Bet my grandad didn't know a single black person growing up.

No one will accuse me of being some liberal either. I'm about as conservative politically as one can get. It's not a liberal v. conservative thing.
