But I am still waiting to hear where aTm has the advantage on the field.

You'll be waiting a long time.
Thankfully for Texas A&M, upsets can and do happen.
It's our only shot.

The only "mediocre" FBS teams we have beaten this year are South Carolina and UCLA.

The other three opponents are all justifiably ranked higher than LSU.

Alabama has won 4 of the last 7 national championships, 3 of the last 4 SEC Championships and is beating people by an average of 30 ppg this season. What exactly do you expect? Of course we are confident in winning a home game like this. How is that "over"confidence?

Already hearing about how the second team would win the East. Just waiting to hear how Bama would be the Jaquars or some other NFL team. shite gets old.

Nobody from Alabama is saying the 2nd team would win the East or beat the Jaguars. If you don't like hearing that stop watching morons on television.

They probably could. Hell, our second string offense had an 8 minute drive against Tennessee. (Not really saying they would win the East).

But most of this unbeatable talk is coming from non-Bama fans.

we have a QB who plays his best games against Bama so far

1 game is not really what I call enough data and considering that OU team might be a little better then this aTm game. But he is 1-0 against UA.

we can give up 1 meeeeellion rushing yards and still win games

We will see come Saturday but UT saw that luck will only get you so far.

quote:

our WRs are a strength and is Bama's weakness (if anything on Bama's team can be called that)

We also have 7 Ints, 4 pick 6s and lead the country in sacks because of all the passing QBs we seem to face. Tim Williams will have Knight running for his life on Saturday.

quote:

Our D Line will make Bama's QB feel pressure he has never seen and that might cause mistakes

Our QB makes mistakes when pressured and we still win and he has yet to get flustered by it. He fumbled on his first time ever touching the ball. And lets not forget he likes getting pressured hence why he has almost 500yds and 8 TDs on the season.

Purely from a statistics analysis and a small sample set you would normally throw out best and worst.

I happen to think this is a measuring stick for us. A defining moment to check progress. Don't mind owning the results.

Weren't all these guys playing against bama last year? What happened? Alabama lined up and ran it down your throats. Rushing the passer is fun, but it doesn't matter if you can't stop the run. Barnett got 1 pressure last Saturday for Tennessee. It resulted in a sack fumble, but Cam Robinson won every other rep in protection. Hurts doesn't make many mistakes, he's shown the willingness to throw the ball away. He is a better runner than anyone y'all have faced this season, pinning your ears back will get you gashed. Good luck rattling him too. That goes both ways. Everyone knows A&M has good pass rushers, there are two sides to that coin though.

I was asked to make an argument for winning and I did. I think 10% odds is fair.

Well Bama "fans" can be over-confident all we want... That has jack shite affect on the way the players play and I can guarantee you that NONE of the players are overlooking A&M. TO make matters worse, they are playing with an attitude and bad intentions... Sorry but that spells disaster for the faggies.

Anything can happen but since I only have seen aTm once really I was wondering where they may be the most dangerous for UA.

Measuring how good college football teams are, relative to each other, is not pure statistical analysis, but you get what I'm saying based on the 2nd point.

This is a measuring stick for aTm, just like it was for UT. Like I said before, we will see just how good this team is Saturday.

You are not getting an over confident Bama team Saturday. You can bet that.

TAMU obviously has a good team, with some future NFL guys on both sides of the ball.

I can see this being a good game, but I don't see TAMU being able to stop our running game. I really don't know if anyone in the country can. Its just that potent.

I think that TAMU will be able to complete some long passes downfield to Reynolds, but Knight might not finish the game with the way our front seven plays.

Bama has been susceptible to giving up big pass plays, and A&M does have the talent at WR to exploit that. Knight has been pretty inconsistent throwing the ball though, so who knows if they can make it happen. I think they need to get 5 or 6 big pass plays(25+ yards) and get at least 75 rushing yards from Williams to compete.

Yeah I just want to be healthy after this game honestly. It would suck to lose key players and limp to 9-3.

Bama also has a pass rush unlike what Knight saw in the Sugar Bowl. He will not have time to just throw it deep as he pleases.

That 2013 team was the worst pass defense Saban has had at Alabama outside of 2007. Young and/or not real talented cornerbacks, box safeties and no pass rush.

CB - Deion Belue/John Fulton/Bradley Sylve/Cyrus Jones (young, raw and with no idea how to play CB Cyrus)

SS - Vinnie Sunseri/Landon Collins

Yikes

You are bad about predictions when it comes to A&M. I would avoid them.
