I don't know why people keep saying they will go undefeated; they get this confident every year around this time and have lost a game every year since 2009. They are the best team in the land, but there is always a team that figures out how to beat them.

I have no clue whether that team is A&M this year or not, but I can assure you their players are confident, which has historically gotten them in trouble and on the receiving end of a Saban arse chewing.

Hell maybe LSU really is turning it around and will be the one beat Bama this year. Have no clue, just saying I don't care how good they look they have historically fricked up one game each year and then gone on to do great things, and I have see no evidence this year is any different.

I do not understand why aTm is so confident. You have yet to show anything on the field except anyone can run on you.

They do have the best defense in the land now.

Good post. Even if they probably are the best team in the country, they haven't had an undefeated season since 2009.

You clearly only watched the Tennessee game. But go ahead.

To what specifically are you referring?

Exactly, that's all I'm saying. Someone is going to figure out how to beat them - historical outcomes supports this. Could be LSU, could be A&M, have no clue. And my own observation is that it tends to happen when Bama gets overly confident.

aTm, LSU, Auburn, SECCG*, and the playoffs* all hold significant potential for a bama loss. Overconfidence could very well be our undoing.

*If we make it to these games.

Overall Defense
468 yards to UCLA
399 yards to Auburn
491 yards to Arkansas
378 yards to South Carolina
684 yards to Tennessee

Rush Defense
125 yards (3.13 ypc) to UCLA
236 yards (4.37 ypc) to Auburn
120 yards (3.00 ypc) to Arkansas
161 yards (4.60 ypc) to South Carolina
282 yards (5.53 ypc) to Tennessee

Texas A&M has an elite pass rush. Texas A&M is average to slightly above average in every other facet of defense. However, that pass rush can negate other weaknesses.

I hope it doesn't sound like LSU fans last year at this time when most LSU fans were dilutional believing the Bayou Bengals were going undefeated.
And we know how last year turned out.

Yeah we get complacent, unfocused, make uncharacteristic mistakes, and beat ourselves

Saban won't lost the SECCG. He'll either lose one of the above mentioned games or possibly in the playoff.

Here's a fun fact.

No SEC team has gone through the regular season undefeated since 2011 LSU.

What is Bama's best win?

Was it a vastly over rated USC team that started the season 1-3?

Was it beating an Ole Miss team while giving up 40? Yes, the same Ole Miss team that just lost to Arkansas.

Was it beating Arkansas while giving up 30 to them?

Was it beating Tennessee who was missing 9 or 10 starters and had just lost a double OT game at A&M.

Just exactly what is this greatness being attributed to? Do you fricks really think you are going to beat A&M by 3 or 4 TDs?

frick off.

I don't want it to sound like no one ever beats Bama, but this is a fair statement. Like in the 2012 A&M loss, your tailback had at least one fumble which was wildly uncharacteristic. McCarron threw an interception which was also unheard of that season - if I recall he even held some record before the game.

It's like one game each year they just stop listening to Saban for a half and get hit in the mouth.

Please share your wisdom with me. Where is the confidence coming from on the aTm side. Please enlighten me. Is it your D, O, special teams, or HC that gives aTm the best chance to knock off UA.

Because I keep seeing these threads and post on how aTm can beat UA. Fine if so where is the advantage?

They'll win this one by 20 or more. Bad matchup for A&M
