Austin be Markist, plus Texas understands the race issue from a brown not black perspective.

So? I'm sure UF is the one job he would have left without righting the ship for. Foley knows Strong better than anyone, and he chose not to pursue. Very weird to me.

Doesn't to me, to to the people in power( and let's face it, some fans as well) it does.

What is Kevin Sumlin's wife? I'm really not sure, but if it works for A&M, I don't know why it wouldn't for Texas.

Rumor has it, when Urban was gonna leave UF in 2009, he was lobbying real hard to Foley to consider Steve Addazio for the HC job, Foley said he would think about it. After Urban resigned Foley was dead set on giving Strong the job. For some reason this pissed Urban off and he changed his mind and decided to come back for another year. Pissed off Strong that Foley didnt tell Urban to frick off after all that "resignation" shite that he pulled and took the first HC job out of town. It doesnt surprise me that Foley didnt pursue Strong in 2010 if all this went down. Plus I dont think Strong is the type of man to "Lane Kifin" a school after one year.

Yep, which is why I don't think Strong considers coming back to UF if asked.

Muschamp to Texas?

Hope not. Florida's got themselves another Ron Zook.

Your boat is taking on water. Did you think Boom was Zook when he overpowered you last year? And did you even stop to consider that UF wenmt to a BCS bowl in hi9s second year?

The mind is a terrible thing to waste. Boom isn't going anywhere....he watched Gator games as a kid in the Swamp and grew up in Gainesville.

UF can still win the east and play in Hotlanta.

If Muschamp bails for Texas wouldn't that be something if Spurier came back to Florida, crazy things to come.

And then Saban back to LSU, Stallings back to Bama, Malzahn back to Arkansas, and Fulmer back to Tennessee. Then Michigan can finally get Les.

Kind of thought that Sumlin would be the next coach. But USC could out bid the horns for his service. And yes, Saban can be bought.

U not too bright. My comment was about the Saban comment and not the rest. NS has had offers through his agent most years by NFL teams. Do you think the NFL teams threw an ungodly about of money at him? I bet they did. So at 62 with all the money he needs he is going to uproot family to take at job in Texasss

Zook beat Saban at Tiger Stadium in 2003. Looking back on the Zooker, he had some crazy wins.

Very ignorant comment.

I don't have a crystal ball, and I don't worry about things that are beyond my control. I like Boom, and and love Charlie. FL will be fine as long as we get rid of Davis, and maybe Pease.

I have heard from tsip insiders. There is a battle going on among the Big Cigars. Half of them want Coach Boom, the other half want Ron Zook.

No matter the choice, we all win.

Well, in his limited defense, few coaches are top tier after only 3 years as a head coach.

Most good coaches get to break themselves in against much weaker competition.

Muschamp is essentially learning on the job against the best teams and coaches in the country.

Learning curve is expected.

Doesn't matter how liberal the students and the $30k millionaires in Austin are. What matters is the opinion of 70 year old very conservative billionaire white oil men.

Sad to say but the same applies to us. Old white racists is why we got Sumlin- we were desperate and they thought he could relate better to black recruits.

Texas isn't desperate so be looking to someone other than Strong.

SMH, how are people so fixated in race this day and age?

What do you know about Texas, do you live here? Do you hang out with old oil men?
