Before Saturday,LF'S worst game was better than DH'S best game. DH was held under 100 yards rushing by ULM and MTSU

They are paid a lot of money to run the defense and I don't follow either team closely enough to know the answer so I'm curious as to what the reasons are.

How about watch some fricking college football? Why are you on this site?

I think you of all people would recognize that I'm merely presenting facts.

I've updated the OP with stats going back to '09 for six different schools.

Just the same reason it takes any coach time to fix their respective units.... time. They both need to recruit to maximize their schemes.

them for 270 and 28 points last week

Was Treon throwing a special kind of td that's worth 14 points? I know being aggie fan you rarely see this but when a defense holds a team to 55 yards rushing on 31 carries, they tend to throw the ball.

Kevin Steele is the best defensive coordinator in the SEC. all he needed was another chance

To converse with other fans?

I figured A&M would say they are thin. Their rushing defense is actually slightly improved this year compared to how atrocious it was in 2013 and 2014.

Auburn is more of a mystery to me.

Dude, I've watched TAMU. Yall are not good on defense. You're just not. TAMU is an overall average team.

Ask farmer to

Look, LSUs defense is better than yours. LSUs offense is better as well. One was expected, the other was not. But TAMU is on the right track. It's just a down year.

Agree. I have been harsh on CWM, but I think there is very low defensive talent level for both teams.

Honestly thats on the HC. These offensive guys like sumlin and malzhan are doing it wrong. No doubt auburn has had a few really talented players on defense just like Tamu, but overall they dont match up with type of players LSU, Bama and Uf get on that side of the ball.

The two teams have played only one common opponent. MSU, on consecutive Saturdays.

MSU vs AU: 21 carries 56 net yards 2.7 ypc 0 TDs
MSU vs TAMU: 34 carries 196 net yards 5.8 ypc 2 TDs

Dayum.

Will be interesting to see how Arkansas does running the ball against Auburn this weekend.

We need players. Muschamp is obviously a great coordinator.

Wait is this the "Auburn doesn't get recruits" argument. Because that's been shown to be bullshite time and again.

No.

I might -- but I care much more about rushing. I'm old school and I believe the game is won in the trenches most days.
