No, he might have actually had a decent career with a good coach. Unfortunately that wasn't the case.

It's a risky move, but it could pay off brilliantly. Mullen will always have a solid program, but, honestly, it has nowhere near the king-making potential of UF. If McElwain does well, Collins' future employment opportunities will be a slight step up going from UF DC than they would be going from MSU DC.
