Dak finding a few wide open receivers=\=Dak being good passer.

Dude is right, MSU has no chance.
Georgia Tech lost to North Carolina. MSU is going to steamroll that arse.

Well I don't think anyone is calling him Aaron Rodgers or anything. He is definitely better at passing than Relf.
He is enough of a threat to where you have to respect his passing and I think he has gotten a little better every year.

Skirp is, but then again he's an idiot.
Dak is a freakish athlete, but he isn't going to play QB if he makes it to the next level.

Definitely not. He's a very good college QB though. Dak is probably the type of QB that Mullen will have in the future. Excellent runner's slowly turning into better passers. Unless he gets a super freak like Cam Newton he probably won't coach an NFL QB though.

Better than Tyler Russell too.

The losses to Duke and UNC were a wake-up call for our defense. Those games weren't lost for lack of offense. Since those losses, we went on a 5-0 run, with wins over Clemson and UGAg and took the defending national champs to the wire. No one is going to "steamroll" this team.

Making fun of Dak's passing, oblivious to the fact that he averaged 250 passing yards a game despite half our offensive plays being runs.
meh?

Engie coming in setting the bar low.

Yes he will, and yes he is.
No one is saying he's going to start on Sundays -- but he will be drafted into the NFL as a QB.

Bo's got more arm strength -- remember?

I only dislike Russell for that Northwestern game where he pretty much singlehandedly lost the game.
Other than that, he generally played pretty well. Plus he came in and gutted out a couple of wins here and there when he was hurt. He just wasn't the right guy for the offense. Put him in another system with another coach and he probably does a lot better.

Russell had stone feet and no pocket awareness, but he could throw a ball over those danged mountains, Napoleon.

which doesn't mean much. Take Vince Young and Tebow. Fairly similar playing styles to Dak and they constantly get made fun of regarding NFL QB potential.
but both of them had amazing numbers and they were the best in college football. Dak is not one of those.

Yeah Russell could definitely make every throw. Every once in a while he would be pretty fun to watch.

VY was just a fricking headcase. Much like Jamarcus grip-n-sip Russell.

I'm with you. He wasn't a fit for our offense. But people champion him as a passer -- when Dak was better this year solely as a passer than Russell was in his best year(2012). And it really wasn't even close...

would have been real fun to watch in an offense that actually fit him.

I think Prescott is a solid passer but his WR corps is way better than anything Tyler Russell had. MSU had the drops some kinda bad back then.
