I will say, he has been a lot more reasonable lately when it comes to the state of their football program. He is the only one of that mob who thinks they'll go 6-6 this year. The rest of those guys are saying 9-3.

That guy hates Ole Miss with a fiery passion, and is a dumbass on message boards, but I hate to see a man lose his livelihood for feeding his family.
From a friend of mine that knows him well, he's fallen on rough times and this isn't the first time his message boarding has cost him a job.
But one of the funniest damn things I have ever seen is the Ole Miss fan that anonymously sent him a letter from the NCAA that he went out and posted and gloated about - only to find out it was an elaborate prank with this ending:

Honestly I have mixed feelings about the guy. He is a jackass online but I don't like to see it intrude on his personnel life. On the other hand he is relentless when it comes to kids going to OM so if a kid from a team he coached wanted to go to OM, wouldn't you expect him to try and dig up dirt or undermine him. As a school I don't thin you want to take that chance.

Head coaching jobs, depending on the school, pay pretty well. Assistant coaching jobs don't pay shite unless you are also teach a subject or 2.

I don't know the back ground on this guy, but it sounds like he burned some bridges over the years and continues to do it publicly for the world to see on the internet. No one to blame but himself IMO.
