Generalize, much?

Have you ever talked to or heard Pogue talk? A rocket scientist, he is not.

He is a genuine country boy. Nice guy. I 100% believe he had no idea that Elitedawgs exhausted before yesterday

EDIT - decided not to put that out there. Let him be for now. It's bad enough just being him.

He was a middle school coach, right?

Not taking up for the guy at all. Just pointing out that Pogue doesn't have good walking around sense (he came through here as an assistant some years back). Don't know how his termination came about. I doubt that the incident with the student played into it though. They should have found that out prior to the offer or the offer was made in spite of the reported incident. I suppose it's possible the background check came back his first day on the job but sure seems coincidental, if so.

He also made a statement that i don't remember verbatim but went something like

'I don't feel sorry for any of those girls (referring to rape victims), most girls favorite fantasy is to be raped.'

Dude deserves whatever comes his way.

I'll continue to laugh at him too

If the candidate was willing to apply for the job opening, and the hiring agent felt he was the most qualified applicant, hire the guy.
Allowing emotions to negate that decision is amateurish at best.

You really think this is a Mississippi thing?

I don't know how active you are or have been in the HR/job market world lately but social media background checking is just about as big as a criminal background check these days.

If only part of what people are saying the guy does online are true, he's not getting a job with public image concerns anywhere.

Which should have been in a criminal report somewhere. They overlooked that or chose to look past it? Usually, if a teacher/coach is guilty of that, they are forever tainted at least in the public school system.

Not butthurt at all about it. He is reaping what he sowed. What I find ironic is OM having Kevin Farmer at Starkville HS steering kids to OM but this cat gets a job in Batesville and y'all code red his arse. I think y'all care more about us then y'all admit and this dude still rustles your jimmies worse than anyone else in the universe.
