From what I understand these guys are way better than the ones who started last year. State was also rumored to have pioneered a technique where some player's were actually rotated into games periodically. More than one of states posters openly speculated that we will see the vastly more talented guys this year. I got bored and started thinking of corn dogs so I missed the explanation why these superior players didn't start last season.

Football is hard.

Nah, bro. They're good. They're the only team in the country who rotates back-ups in to get experience, so losing a shite-ton of starters is no problemo.

Sure everyone does it. So why do we seem to be the only team in the SEC where losing players will knock us from 2nd in the West and #11 to last and unranked?

Because you lost most of your starters. That's hard on any team in any division. In the SEC West? It's a death sentence.

Someone has to be picked last or near the bottom. The other teams in the West just happen to have more reasons to expect success from them than yall do.

Mullen rewards seniors and players that have invested in the program with starts while the "backups" still get just as many snaps if not more than the starter.

We return the 2nd most players with game time playing experience. Snaps played. According to Tom Luginbill.
