I was looking at your depth chart and was surprised to see 3 Senior starters and 8 Junior starters on offense, 5 Senior starters and 6 Junior starters on Defense. How much experience do those guys have?

Yeah their Team B is replacing some of their Team A guys from last year. But their Team B last year blew so I don't know how good they'll be. With Dak they'll win at least 8.

State rarely gets those 4 and 5 star players who can contribute in year one so they red shirt the majority of their players and try to develop them. Probably a good strategy for State.

Doesn't matter....the company line for MSU fans is the underclassmen are ALWAYS better than the veterans. Been hearing it for years.

Dak has lost a little weight in the off season, so his throwing should be vastly improved

Last year state was a solid team because they had experienced backups.

Well now with all those starters from '14 gone and the backups from '14 are the new starters. The more important question is, how much experience do the '15 backups have?

.... no their backups were shite last year. Most teams did their scoring when the backups were put in.

They have a lot of experience. Defensively, improvement. It's not just due to talent, it's due to development and a defensive scheme by a guy who is known to take players to the next level.

Offense.... Slight improvement due to Dak's passing. Second year under the new qb coach. Running back.... Lee. Remember the name.

Schedule is favorable with lsu, bama, and ole miss at home.

Didn't UAB put up over 500 yards against them last year with most of it coming against their 1b?

Pinkel's season wins at Missouri were 4, 5, 8, 5, 7, & 8 his first 6 seasons. After that they have won 12, 10, 8, 10, 8, 5, 12, 11. Not saying Mullen is another Pinkel, but it's possible. We'll see.

We actually have a lot more 4* rated recruits on our team than pretty much everyone outside of the fanbase realizes. Hell, I don't even think some of our fans know this, or maybe because they don't care as much as other fanbases I don't care much myself, but it's constantly always being brought up that we have so few. That's incorrect.

Coach Knox says it is Shumpert who has set himself apart from the pack. Lee did look good in the Spring game though.

Nah, bro. They're good. They're the only team in the country who rotates back-ups in to get experience, so losing a shite-ton of starters is no problemo.
