0% chance that MSU beats Bama until at least 5 years after Nick Saban.

And youre still Mississippi State no matter what. The universe will ensure that no matter how mediocre the rest of SEC is, y'all will still lose at least 3 games, and right after Fitzgerald leaves will go right back to normal under .500 seasons for MSU. And it'll probably another 20 years before the circumstances are right again for State to win the West again. If y'all ever do, which I doubt.

MSU may be able to complicate things in some areas, but they won't stop Jalen Hurts at all.

Hurts might be the worst starter Bama has outta 22 guys

It's gonna take more than 1 sec victory
To prove your worthy lmao. That said, I was thoroughly impressed. I work in the gulf with corndog fans that give me hell. This was my time to return the favor. I bleed crimson, yet think we're
Likely not ready to make another title run this year. Too much losses and
Numerous injuries. Ya just never know though

From Yahoo Sports .. "His name had been turned into a verb – "Croomed" – which meant an opposing coach was fired, in part, for losing to Mississippi State and Sylvester Croom. Florida Croomed Ron Zook back in 2004. Alabama Croomed Mike Shula in 2006.

Because of those losses, they've won 5 national titles between them, MSU has won 0.

It's actually quite incredible, the way things end up working out...

In a weird way, beating them ultimately made them stronger and you weaker. Which says a lot about what each respective program is willing to accept and how they define success.

It's gonna get super awkward for Moo U fans when they realize how terrible LSU is and how slightly above average they are. Reality is gonna be a bitch when they face a decent team.

Nobody from State has an inflated view of our self. I do find it interesting that LSU is all the sudden really bad. No way can State have become a better program slowly over the last 8-9 years with some bumps along the way.

Yep right now Bama is almost unbeatable but not completely invincible because they have lost at least one game in each of the last few years.

However, beyond that, this year, I believe we can compete and beat anybody on our schedule this year. Now will we? Probably not.
But starting Saturday night I like our chances against UGA to win the game. If we lose, so be it. I will get up Sunday morning and will be fine. No sweat here if we lose.
If we win, I will be happy but not arrogant or obnoxious over it.

Michigan State did, indeed, break the SEC. They gave Saban his first big break as HC at a major program.

Got a lot of respect last year with that 3-5 SEC record when the only West teams you beat was aTm and Ole Miss.

Saturday Dawgs played flawlessly but I doubt you see that again this season. We played like the Little Sisters of the Poor and you humbled us. But I wouldn't get too big for your pants. The SEC isn't very good this year but you aren't going undefeated, I am willing to bet. You aren't going to see too many more teams' 4th team nose tackle(with no back up) for the whole game (except for the first series)like you did against us .
