"Blaze" starring Paul Newman was about Huey K. Long and his affair with New Orleans stripper Blaze Starr. It was filmed in Baton Rouge and New Orleans and had scenes filmed on the LSU campus.

Holy crap! I can't believe I forgot this one, but the very beginning of The Last Boy Scout (awesome flick, btw) has the A&M/BYU Holiday Bowl playing. We absolutely destroyed them, and gave their QB two dislocated shoulders.
Greatness. And they said we couldn't play with them.

Yes it was, I had to go to the West Bank this morning and went over the Huey P Long bridge and had that on my mind.

For whatever reason, the stock footage shown to start the Last Boy Scout is from the A&M/BYU Holiday Bowl.
In Troy, one of the ship sailing for Troy has the "saw'em off" logo on the sail as one of the producers is an Ag.

In "White men can't jump" they say that Woody Harrelson played ball @ LSU. The Woodman also wore a LSU Hat in "Indescent Proposal"

Didn't people die in that game? Didn't the football player carrying the ball pull out a gun and start blasting the defense?

Then he gets to the endzone, says "ain't life a bitch" and shoots himself? Is that the one?
I seen't it

That would have been cool if true, but it's not.
