Isn't "TheToy" starring Richard Pryor filmed partly at LSU? I recall seeing the bell tower and the lakes in the movie.

Don't know if it has been mentioned but one needs to be added for both Alabama and Auburn:
Alabama:
Charlie Wilson's War - The weapons specialist that Charlie Wilson (played by Tom Hanks) and his CIA buddy (Phillip Seamore Hoffman's character) meet with that is playing multiple games of chess was an Alabama grad in real life. He's now one of the highest ranked officials in the DOD.
Auburn:
Breach - The character portrayed by Ryan Phillipe was and Auburn grad an the real life FBI agent that help catch a notorious double agent.

most likely refering to the state in general or the river. Bandit and Cledus were from Georgia.

In the movie "We Are Marshall" assistant coach Red Dawson is talking to the coach about one of the recruits and says, "Bear Bryant called me personally to recommend him."
4 players from Druid High School were recruited by Marshall and all 4 died in the plane crash.
This was during the time that Alabama football was not integrated and Coach Bryant called Dawson to recommend one of the players. A year or so later and Alabama football was being integrated.

"Blaze" starring Paul Newman was about Huey K. Long and his affair with New Orleans stripper Blaze Starr. It was filmed in Baton Rouge and New Orleans and had scenes filmed on the LSU campus.

Mean Girls 2 does some sort of reference to TAMU and texas rivalry.
Also TV show friday night lights references texas a&m for smash williams and eventually does a tryout on campus I believe.

I think it was the Capitol Building not the LSU tower but it was in Baton Rouge. Not sure though.
