Gonna add a little basketball flavor...

In a long time of Florida basketball players (here's a nod to Matt Walsh, Teddy Dupay, etc)

Also absolutely HATED this guy when he played for UT:

Personally, I can't say that I've ever hated a football player before. There are certainly some that have annoyed me with dumb shite on and off the field. I'm thinking about the Garcias, Perillouxs and Nukees Richardsons of the world.

He cost us 3 or 4 games in his career, maybe more. The UCLA game, the Bama game, and the UNC game off the top of my head. He was the worst kicker I've ever seen at Tennessee.

He almost blew the South Carolina game in 2007, too, but a penalty gave him another chance.

Also may have cost Tennessee the SEC title in 2007. I think he missed 2 field goals that certainly could have changed the outcome of the game.

You are kidding me? He wanted to play for Kiffin, not Dooley.

I don't hate Bryce Brown.

I cannot for the life of me understand why anyone could/would hate Danny Wuerffel.

I'm not sure that dude has ever had a drop of alcohol and his work with kids is amazing.

I think too many just hate players because they are good and beat up on their team. Which is a pretty silly reason to hate a player. Many times the hype machine also makes this much worse, like with Tebow and to a lesser extent Cam.

I'm amused that history goes back 1-2 years for most the posters in this thread.

Personally I've never really hated a player, but Rex Grossman was a guy I really disliked, total douchenozzle.

I'm like this, in that situation, I hate a players guts as long as he is wearing that uniform. The day he graduates, he gets a new slate for me.

But if he goes to an NFL team I hate, then it usually just goes right back downhill again.

Hah, yeah, having a player you dislike from college go to a team you hate in the pros is like a double whammy. I agree that a player graduating makes a good bit of difference. I couldn't like a player like say Ingram or D Thomas while they were playing for Bama, but once they were graduated I can appreciate their good qualities, particularly in Thomas's case, as he's one of my favorite non-Auburn Sec players all time.

One player that kinda went from nobody paying attention to him to being hated would be Jay Cutler. You couldn't really see his bad qualities in college due to him playing at Vandy, but since the pro spotlight got on him he's front and center.

I don't hate Tebow. Yes, it was irritating listening to everyone suck his dick, but overall he was a fantastic player and is an even better person. I'd rather listen to people talk about Tebow than I would cam.

Can't remember ever really "hating" a player. Hate is a pretty strong word. I am beginning to develop a serious dislike for Kenny Rogers and now Forrest Moore (I did like his dad's field goal kicking skills).

Did he redshirt then, because he is in incoming JR for us and that would put him being a freshman under Kiffin.
