In the Saban dynasty, I'd have to say the most frustrating win I've seen is probably the 14-13 win over Arkansas in 2014. That game was quite irritating for a win. No reason we shouldn't have won that one comfortably.
One hell of a feather in Bert's cap. He probably saved the game ball.

At least y'all can say it was a frustrating "win" against ULM.
Pretty sure a certain billboard still stands in Monroe.

If Auburn fans don't say the 3-2 game vs. State, they are doing it wrong.
WORST football game in the history of the damned sport!
Friend and I managed to pull this score off in NCAA on Xbox.
Army-Navy.
That shite was frustrating to play, couldn't imagine watching it in a stadium

The year we beat Auburn 12-10 when they went 0fer in the SEC or the Tennessee 12 men on the field call.
Les Miles is the king of the frustrating win (although a win is still a win, he somehow finds a way to make it annoying every year).

I think UAB in 2010 was embarrassing. My freshman year, just started getting into UT football and it was parents weekend. Had to sit with my family as their first UT gameday experience was watching us barely keep our heads above water against UAB...
They've yet to go to another game.

It will be hard to top Tenn 2010 for LSU, but I'd have 2010 North Carolina game right there with it. There's nothing worse than watching your team get a big lead and then see the other team slowly crawl back into the game. LSU was up 30-10 at the end of the first half.
UNC had many of their players suspended,LSU doesn't score a point in the 2nd half, Ridley has a costly fumble with 1 minute left, and North Carolina has a chance to win it from the 6 that goes off the TE's hands in the endzone that could have been called pass interference. LSU wins the game 30-24.That game for me personally was a lot more frustrating then the Tenn game.

Miles has several... UNC '09 was pretty frustrating... A&M last year could have been by 28 points.... but Tennessee '10 was just flat out unpleasant

For LSU to win by 28 points, it would have to reach the 35 point threshold.
Coaches who have scored at least 35 points against Kevin Sumlin's A&M defenses:
Nick Saban
Gus Malzahn
Dan Mullin
Hugh Freeze
David Cutcliffe
Dana Holgorsen
Sonny Dykes

Biggest one that comes to mind is when we played NC State at their place. I think 2009? We won like 7-3
I agree with that. Tori Gurley got about a dozen offensive pass interference calls and had 2 TD's called back.
The other one might have been the 2008 game vs NC State when Beecher threw 5 INT's, and somehow we still won.

When I was in school in 1990 we beat La Tech 16-14 in one of the most uninspired efforts ever by a Pat Dye team. It sucked from the opening whistle to the final horn.

The year Bama won the NC in '92, Bama beat La Tech 13-0 and it was a pretty uninspiring performance as well (but still not as bad as losing to them like we did in the DuBose years).
I remember Jay Barker trolling Miami hard by saying in the Sugar Bowl postgame, "There is no way Miami has a better defense than La. Tech."

Auburn vs. Miss. St.
AU won 3-2
It was a win, but was a loss.

So did I. I saw Beecher play a lot in HS, I had family on his team. He dominated. He just completely fell apart that game and Spurrier told him he would never play at SC again...so he went to Liberty and played there. He's doing really well for himself nowadays though, so it all worked out for him.

Like every Memphis game, most of the fanbase doesn't even want to play them (I disagree). If I had to pick the MOST frustrating, it would probably be last year. I still can't believe we ended up pulling that one.....wait..

In my time following Auburn football they are as follows:
1996: 28-24 win over ULM (then SE Louisiana)
2003-04: Both Iron Bowl wins - '03 Cadillac goes for a TD on the opening play and we're up 18-2 at halftime but we Tubershell it back into a close game. In 04 we should've blown their doors off since they were playing with Spencer Pennington under center, but the rain in Tuscaloosa slowed us down and Bama played inspired for a half until we took the lead.
Most wins from '06-'08: Tuberville just felt content to win by a point and it made us look so crappy at times, failing to move the ball on Tulane or Buffalo or whoever.
2010: 37-34 win over Kentucky. Cam puts up 4 rushing TDs, and we lead by a bunch, but Randall Cobb wildcats them back to a tie and we need a 90+ yard drive for the win.
2014: 42-35 over USC. They didn't stop our offense once, but Spurrier had to choose this game to say screw it and go four like 9 4th downs, of which they probably converted 8.
Won't even mention 2008 MSU, 2011 USU, 2012 ULM, or 2015 JSU because they've already been touched on.
