Could have been that one. It was one of those games versus a cupcake. I don't remember which one.

I brought a few people to their first Bama game that day (they weren't big football fans). Ugh. By some miracle, they seemed to have a good time. I was miserable (during the game).

In recent years, I'd say...

2014- Arkansas game. We were horrible that evening. Just glad to have gotten out with a win. We couldn't do anything right.

2015- UT. Flat as a pancake and dead-legged against a pretty good team. Not the kind of game and team you want to be playing like you're worn out against. And we just generally don't defend Dobbs very well, for whatever reason (even though they only scored 13 somehow).

In the Saban dynasty, I'd have to say the most frustrating win I've seen is probably the 14-13 win over Arkansas in 2014. That game was quite irritating for a win. No reason we shouldn't have won that one comfortably.

That would have to be followed closely by the Houston game in Saban's first year where we literally had to hang on to beat a crappy Houston team 30-24 that finished 8-5.

Up 37-17 going into the 4th quarter and almost blew the game.

Coming off that Ole Miss game and I was really worried we'd let one loss bother them so much it turned into two. Had to give Arky credit for a hard fought game though.

2015- UT

At the Nick at Noon lunch the day before Saban basically said the team was on fumes and needed a week off. He implored the crowd there to be loud the next day. Said UT had a good team and it was going to be an absolute battle. That one didn't frustrate me so much as it did A) impress me that Saban was that in tune with his team and B) show how determined the team was.

Lots of reasonable answers for LSU fans, but last year vs Miss State was agonizing.
Obviously the better team and played like it the first half. Got conservative, went into a shell, and almost cost us with that last second field goal attempt.

That was extremely frustrating.. Especially when you could sense it coming even after the dominant first half.

Weather had a lot to do with how that game was played as well.

In recent memory the only right answer for UGA is ga southern last year.

But that's the obvious (and correct) choice, so just for discussion's sake I'll throw out '13 UT.

We were ranked 6th and playing against an unranked 1st year coach from the big east and were cruising to a 17-3 halftime lead. However, midway through teh 3rd quarter we were without our:

1st (injured weeks prior) and 2nd (injured 1st half) string RBs
1st (injured game 1), 2nd (injured that day) and 3rd (injured that day) string WRs
Our starting punter also suffered a concussion.

Crazy that through sheer will aaron murray held us together despite trotting out with our 3rd/4th string RBs and 4/5/6 string WRs.

We still had the lead most of the game, until UT took a 7 point lead with under 2 minutes left. Murray murray'd us down the field to tie and go to OT, and we ended up kicking a 42 yarder (no gimme) to win. Walking out of the game it was just a sinking, delfating feeling. Nobody was cheering leaving that game.

Because we were totally routing UGA from the fist kick of the game to basically the start of the 4th quarter. They had zero answer for our offense and our dumb coach changed our game plan and started throwing the ball all over the field instead of continuing to run it down UGA's throat. Got cute

Which gave us a bunch of quick 3 and outs so Aaron Murray could get his groove and begin to stick it up our arse for a full quarter and basically beat us if it had not been a gift from the Gods

fricking frustrating

I've said it before, but I truly think Murray's performance that day would have been one for the ages in SEC lore had we won. Hell, not even counting if the hail mary didn't happen. Even after the hail mary, he still drove us down to the very last play.

It's a shame that his performance that day will ultimatley be forgotten but pretty much everyone other than UGA and AU fans. And hell, even in a few years most AU fans probably won't remember either.

Well, honestly since they gave him a TD that he didnt actually make, it hurts his overall legend that day

Relatively recently? 2012 at Missouri. Uggh. Rogers was doing fine -- not great -- but it seemed Zac Stacy couldn't buy a yard with c-note and an offer of a free blowjob.

The only thing that kept me from turning it off was that our defense was ferocious. But it was an ugly game all around for the most part, for both teams.
