honestly since they gave him a TD that he didnt actually make, it hurts his overall legend that day
Don't play dumb, you already know why he didn't get in.

2012 Louisiana Tech game.
Nearly blew leads of 27-0, 39-13, and 59-44.

UGA: 2003 16-13 win over UAB was just terrible and the first one to come to mind. Somehow, it was matched by horrible games against Missouri and GSU last year.
2008 vs Tennessee is another one. Absolutely dominated the game but really struggled to put them away. Those are the ones that are the most frustrating.
Honorable mention to the shitshow against South Carolina in 2008.

2013 vs. Florida
LSU was a 10-win team with sick offensive weapons. Florida was a 4-8 team that would lost in The Swamp to a Georgia Southern team that threw all of 3 passes - none of which were completed.
It was a 14-6 until an LSU field goal made it a 2-score game with less than 8 minutes to play. UF got the ball back and converted a 4th and 5 from their own 30 (fake punt pass) and a 4th and 9 getting UF down to the LSU 20. LSU dropped 3 interceptions in the game and it was the hottest game I ever sat through in Tiger Stadium.

How about that 2012 game against the Ragin Cajuns that took a blocked punt to win. Actually damn near every Muschamp win against a cupcake team was infuriating. You would just sit there as say to yourself "how are we not blowing these fools out".

2007 Egg Bowl
State(6-5) vs Ole Miss(3-8)
We couldn't get out of our own dang way in this one. We were better than Ole Miss and everyone in the stadium knew it. They got up 14-0, and it stayed that way until about 7 minutes left before we decided to play and won 17-14 in regulation. I never leave a game early but almost did 3 times. Finally, we stopped them on 4th and 1 with about 9 minutes left and as I said decided to play. Great ending, but the first 3.5 quarters were crap.
Another one I remember was the 2002 Troy State game we won 11-8. Terrible game, but at least we won unlike 2001.

3-2 against MSU
we were a top ten team at the time and everyone knew then that the Tony Franklin experiment was officially going south and Auburn sucked.

La tech in 92. Won 13-0 but I think we had 8 first downs. Barker was like 3 for 14 and 30 yards or something. After halftime Stallings literally ran the same 4 plays the rest of the game.
Tulane in 2008. Had whipped heavily favored clemson in the opener and beat the greenies 20-6 and that last td came late. There was a time in the 3rd it looked like tulane was gonna tie it up. I think it was 10-3 at the time and tulane was inside our red zone.
Houston 2007. Jumped out to like a 21-0 lead early and couldn't do shite for the last 3 quarters. Game ended with Houston having 3 shots from about our 25 yard line for the win. We played the same game against arkie in 07. Big lead, squandered it, won it but we should have ran arkie back to the Ozarks.

Barker was a solid QB by the time his senior year rolled around but he has to be the worst national title winner ever.

Colorado in 2006.
UGA was held scoreless for 3 quarters and had to put in the 3rd string QB to lead a comeback. UGA wasn't great by any means (9-4, with all losses to East teams) but they were undefeated at the time and Colorado was absolutely horrible. That game shouldn't have been close at all.
Honorable mention: 2000 Kentucky, 2011 Vanderbilt, any 2015 win (minus 2 or 3 games)

The final minutes were euphoric even though it should have never gotten there. But that was typical richt.

My answer to the question:
The most recent case would be 2015 UTEP. 17-15. Things werent going right, and didnt go right the next week either.
