Why would you assume that? Is there something in the OP that gives you reason to think it's a troll, or is it just stating information and making a statement of surprise at some of those facts?

Being from Florida, I don't get UCF. But I am not from the guedo southern part of it so maybe its different down there.

A lot of really optimistic people applying. Duke? Vandy? Northwestern? I'm going to assume they're measuring all applications, i.e. nationwide, rather than just in-state ones.

Pepperdine is the size of my high school. Being on the beach in Malibu is awesome and all but you can drive there from UCLA campus in about 30 minutes

I love how some say the shitty school is it because everyone applies and others say the smarter school because it's higher prestige. Interesting we have both ends of the spectrum....
