Denial about what, Being the Ole Miss rebels? That is how it has always been.

The State 'we won the game' smack is more warranted than OM's 'we are out recruiting you' smack, is all I'm saying. From a third party's perspective the latter reeks of desperation.

I disagree. Who doesn't want the best talent they could possibly get. We won them from MSU so I'm rubbing it in. If it "reeks of desperation" then I don't give a shite.

If the shoe were on the other foot and OM had dominated the games while MSU out-recruited them, you know exactly what your position on this would be.

Broseph Barksdale doesnt get it and that's fine. I really don't give a frick.

Are we not supposed to be happy about pulling in perhaps the best class ever at OM? A class full of home-grown talent? Apparently not.

Even after the abortion of a season we just had?

Stealing State's recruits after their best season since I could drive?

That's all that's going on here, atleast in my mind. I am pumped that we are about to own the state and every Bulldog fan knows it.

I know they have beaten our arse two years in a row, trust me, I was there. In 09 we werent ready to play and severely underestimated them after big wins vs UT and LSU. In 2010 we just got beat but never threw in the towel like Croom's 2008 team atleast.

But here we are, "black bears would rather out recruit state than beat state der der der."

frick you. Of course I wanna beat state, that's why me and other OM posters are pumped about this top 15 class we are about to pull in.

I would be really pissed off my coach wasn't a very good recruiter. I wouldn't pissed at the other school and wouldn't be spewing all sorts of conspiracy theory's.

Would you rather beat State or out recruit State?

One will lead to the other. Especially when MSU is full of 2-3* projects in a couple years

We already are:

Chris Relf- 2-star QB- top half SEC QB
Vick Ballard- 2 star- TB- 2nd in SEC in TD's
Ladarius Perkins- TB- 2 star- 200 yards receiving and 3 TD's in last 2 games as a freshman
Corey Broomfield- 2-star- 2 year starter at CB
Jonathan Banks- 3 star- starter at CB
JC Brignone- 3-star- Center- NFL draft bound- late pick

just to name a few of our top players

I dont see what the big deal is- Mississippi has finished higher than us the last 7-8 years in recruiting rankings. Mullen is going to beat your arse no matter where we end up

I trust this. Afterall, you, along with about 85 other Dawwwwgs, are on the Spirit board more than most OM fans.

I can honestly say, I've visited the spirit one time, probably about a year ago. Never been back.
