Wanna lay down some facts to back that up? Or is there a relief you feel from talking out of your arse?

The red and black is not university sponsored.

Are you catching up now?

Why did these two individuals just happen to choose football players as part of their activities. How many other students are on UGAs campus? Just a random coincidence ?

Did you read the story?

Seriously? Do you have any idea how many times I myself have had to replace credit cards over the past few years due to identity theft? It's horribly common. Sometimes it's a random grab of info via cyber attack and sometimes its targeted. UGA football players are kind of public figures. Not hard to believe that they might be targeted for something like this.

UGA doesn't have one. It used to be the R&B but, as deeprig said, that ceased to be around 1980

Really? That's kind of surprising, I assumed everybody had a student newspaper.

I mean, the R&B functions as one but it's not owned or run by the University. The student positions there act more as internships than like club positions.

Come on, do you really believe these two football players did not know the two criminals ? UGA does publish a yearbook, why not some random student. I guess that is why they want phone records.

I would but they seem to be buried beneath the mountain of UGA-related threads you've started since the last time a UGA player got into some kind of trouble.

You are telling me that the UGA School of Journalism does not produce a newspaper. Somebody needs to take away their Peabody Award.

What reason do I have to? Neither one has ever been in trouble before, they both come from a solid HS in Cobb Count, and by all accounts they're good guys. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt, thanks.

Yeah, I haven't met anyone that has graduated after the year 2000 that has bought or taken a picture for the Pandora.

To verify that they don't know these guys? Yeah, probably.

Well, frick, where do I start. Uh, ok. First off, the Red & Black WAS a University run newspaper BUT they left the University and became Independent and completely ad-supported in 1980 in order to avoid interference on the part of school administrators. They still function as a newspaper that is almost entirely student run (through the form of internship-like staff positions rather than appointed club-like positions) and also produce a magazine (Ampersand). So, while not run by the School of Journalism they are staffed by its students.
Second off, the School of Journalism does not have a Peabody Award. Rather, they host and sponsor the Peabody Awards.

Do I need to copy and paste this in case you decide to remain willfully ignorant?
