Dude is dating a 4. Takes his girl out with his buds for the first time. His friends break it to him that his girl isn't very attractive.

"Yeah guys, I know. But she's NICE. And smart. And funny."

All of which may be true, and maybe the girl is great for the guy, but she's still a 4.

Where's the depth for the rest of this class?or does nutt plan on turning one of them into a QB and RB cause the only offense you had last year was a attributed to Snead, McCluster, and Hodge. Your offense is going to be potent.

We have 3 QB's as of right now. For next year, Stanley a RS Soph, Cotton a RS Fr, and we have the #1 Juco QB coming in with Mackey(ATH).

We're good with RB's with the most experience coming back in Bolden. Rodney Scott looked good as a True Fr. If we can sign another good DB this year, on of our DB's had med. issues last year and set out. He may get moved to RB because he was absolutely tearing it up in Cotton Bowl practices. Korvic Neat is said to be the next Dexter per Florida media. I think it's up to his head and his heart to make that happen.

I'm still concerned about WR's. We have good experience coming back in Breaux and Summers. They need to step up. Along with Pat Patterson needing to step up.

Truth be told, I am worried a bit about the Wide out position. But we also plan on signing another WR or two in this class. Not too mention any ATH's that may we moved to wide out.

Funny how Arkansas compared to Arkansas still lures the Rebs in.

Arkansas' 2010 class is at 84% 5.6 or higher, topping last seasons 77%. Nutt (not a flame) averaged 39% 5.6 or higher.

Comparing Arkansas to Arkansas, this class provides back to back years of quality of depth we have never had.

As an Arkansas fan, it excites me that when Matt Jones or Darren & Felix graduate we are not doomed to rebuilding years.

Never said they were 5.6 or higher. They are they 17, 18, and 19 of "16 of 19", or the other 16%.

k....

Well you have 9 players that's .1 away from being below that 5.6. If you're gonna talk about giving everyone a .1 bonus, you also need to look at possibly giving everyone a .1 penalty.

This entire thread is a HUGE stretch.

Petrino will no doubt win 6-8 games a year.

LSU fans how does it feel to have 30 4 & 5 star commitments on the offensive side of the ball since 2006 and have that translate to having the 102 ranked offense.

Did you want only Arkansas fans to reply?
Maybe you should have posted this on Hogville then.

You're posting this thread to try and convince US of your standing on the matter.

And FWIW, I agree with you. You have to look at how these players produce on the field. They could easily turn out to be great producers. But they could just as easily turn out to be busts.

We see eye to eye on this fact.

But the talent is there and LSU only needs to replace 1, 2, or 3 people to get that talent to produce.

LSU's talent overcame Arkansas coaching last year.

Be completely honest. How many Ole Miss fans post on that website? We've pretty much treated that place like a quarantined Toxic-waste dump.

No LSU's talent overcame arkansas's kicker and horrible defense.
The point is star rankings don't always equate to on the field success and vice versa.

Not always in individual games but look at every BCS championship team since the start of it and then look at their recruiting rankings. It does matter.

I agree. But my point is that LSU's star rankings got them to another 9 win season. Because it sure as hell wasn't coaching that did it.

Just remember....there was no sequel to The Little Giants. Because the Cowboys would have killed them if they played them again.

A 5.6 Rivals rating is basically a middle of the pack recruit and anything below that is below average. Right now we have 16 out of our 20 rated players at 5.6 or higher. So, 84% of this class is considered to be at or above average. To put that in perspective last year (considered by many as our best class ever) we had 77% at a 5.6 or higher rating.

Great Post! It never fails to amaze me when idiots talk all the Shite about 4star-5star etc... and we kick the shite out of Auburn this year, beat LSU 3 of last 3 basically, lost to florida this year 23-20 before REFS were suspended! Proofs in the Puddin.... The difference in a 3star -4star in so many cases is simply exposure of the kid not a variance in talent.
