I was not aware that Missouri recrutied by GPA's and then turned the academic recruit into an athlete.

Agreed. I think most Mizzou fans would like it better.

Nope. The majority if Mizzou fans are extremely happy to he in the SEC, and have no interest in moving. Why would we want to? Any other conference would be a step down, and backward!

To be honest, I wanted the BIG when we thought it was the only option out of the bevo 12 at the time. I just wanted out and in a better conference.

If the SEC and BIG were both options back in 2010 or whenever the BIG talk started I would have taken the SEC every day of the week.

We sucked this year in damn near every sport, but I'm glad we're here.

personally - I have no issue with Mizzou being here in the SEC, and posters like the OP are probly in the minority in regards to what he posted.

Did you see where the Big Ten Commish admitted they made a mistake in not taking Missouri and Kansas?

However, I'm glad the mistake was made as it will make basketball more interesting and fun to have Ole Miss and Mizzou both close for football.

Well that's what I'm getting at. In the SEC, it's not. However, in the Big 10, there is a multitude of collaboration between the universities involving research, studies, etc.

You must play sports with other schools to be able to collaborate with them in academic endeavors? "Sorry, we cant work on this cancer drug together. Our athletic teams do not throw balls at each other" This whole thread is pointless.

No.

Why are you rolling on the floor laughing at your own statement when you're speaking to the wrong person? Idiot.

For a 0/10 trolling attempt, you sure got a lot of fish to bite.

might need to upgrade it to at least a 5/10 after seeing the results

It's an athletic conference but yes, your school would have a much better chance to compete....which is what you really meant to say.

I think the OP was merely looking to get a reaction and doesn't actually believe what he said.

Has anyone stopped to consider that a University President is conducting himself as Blogosphere Bubba (and not for the first time). Early Onset is relatively common.
