No way the Big X is pursuing Kansas and Oklahoma. Okie doesn't have the AAU qualification and KU admits 97% of applicants. Neither are strong research schools either.

Their academic elitism took a major hit when Nebraska got kicked out of the AAU after being admitted to the Big X. They've become skittish in that area.

On top of all that, Greg Flugaur is a blithering idiot. He has no credible sources for his stupid rumors.

Missouri is in a good spot. I don't see them leaving. I like having them here.

Would require a big large huge payday for Mizzou to even consider B10. Mizzou was rejected by B10 before we migrated to the SEC.

No, Missouri said FU to being a junior member, and only getting a share of the revenue for the first so many years.

Nubs were desperate and bolted immediately when MU said no thanx.

Nubs were never #1 option, never. They were the next option after Missouri said no.

That would make them first-rate assholes, which would also make them a perfect fit for the Tiny10.

If Missouri has chance to join the big 10 they should go. Sports would suck but the school itself would be better off.

This shite just never goes away. Of course Mizzou would jump at the B1G in a heartbeat. But the B1G don't want Mizzou. We're too southern according to them and don't fit their culture.

Why is that? Because we "don't fit in here"?

Big 10 should go after Kansas.

apparently that fool thinks we will go to the 10, to help them land kansas, as though the beakers wouldn't jump at the chance to fly their miserable coop for the 10 now.

There is a whole lotta stupid going on in the twitterverse.

But just for argument sake, say Missouri does jump ship: who does the SEC try to add to balance out the divisions? I'd say another Texas team.

yea the idea is that they will up the offer to immediate full membership and since there is no exit fee in the SEC we will jump at the chance to go.

as granny Hawkins would say "I say that big talks worth doodly squat"

If the B1G wants to go to 16, Mizzou and KU are an obvious target.

Missouri already got rejected.

When the B1G expands again, and it will, they will be going after schools like Oklahoma, Texas, Florida, Georgia Tech, North Carolina, and Georgia Tech. Maybe even Miami but I doubt that one.

It is all about landmass (aka population).

Kansas has no return value.

Mizzou is not leaving the SEC, nor should they. Great fit, just need to be moved to the west.

Florida as a charter member is going to abandon all of their rivalries and history and move to the Big 10?

That's the dumbest thing I've heard today.
