Please try and remove your foot from your own mouth by trying to put words in my mouth I never said. I have been to SEC baseball games and saw the crowds they drew. In addition I discussed Final Fours in basketball so getting to CWS might be similar in baseball. Look at CWS since joining the SEC
(9) Mississippi State = 1971, 1979, 1981, 1985, 1990, 1997, 1998, 2007, and 2013
(3) Arkansas = 2004, 2009, and 2012

In the first year or two of Mizzou in the SEC it was way more than just TigerNick saying this from the Mizzou fans - several folks on here besides me have already pointed this out - about how the Tigers were going to run the SEC. Do you know any athletes on a personal level, um they love division, conference titles. I have athletes in my family, one played at LSU, one is currently being recruited by B1G, and Big 12 schools, sure the SEC invites will come rolling in. It's an accomplishment for them, something they can tell their kids about. Yeah fans might not think it matters, but those athletes sure do. Their parents/family think it matters.
I'm a booster for LSU, you better believe I love division and conference titles. I put money into the program, I want to see a return on my investment.

This is what grits does. It literally happens every thread in which he posts about Mizzou. He creates some mystical criteria that Mizzou just misses therefore deserves no respect. And just like every other thread and example is brought forth using his own "logic" like the baseball one in this thread that he back pedals from and starts playing victim and or engaging in the ad hominem, personal attack nonsense.

I hate when fans act like National titles is the only thing that matters. That's bandwagon shite. I've been donating to LSU since 1999, during the "down" years of LSU football, before they won the BCS titles. I was happy as hell when LSU won the SEC West, SEC and went to the Sugar Bowl to play Illinois.

Good fricking lord Grits. No one here is claiming Mizzou is on UK level in basketball or Bama level in football. The rest of your bullshite qualifications are just your opinions and that's fine. Not gonna try to change your mind. And yes, I'd rather be making the tourney than not making the tourney like some programs.

Hell what they forget is that Mizzou is bringing money into the SEC. Millions just from the state's population. Bringing more money for other schools. Doubt if any one fan donates more to those schools program than what Mizzou brings into those schools. And on a side note....the Cotton Bowl and Citrus Bowl bids makes the conference money. I could never give LSU the money that Mizzou brings into LSU from the conference split of bowl revenue/tv contracts.

I was one of the Mizzou posters around back then when we made our way over to the Rant when we found out Mizzou was heading to the SEC. As a fanbase even then, we never proclaimed to be a basketball school, rather we should be pretty competitive. Top half of the conference etc...
Grits has no life other than the Rant. If he can pick a fight with Mizzou fans, it makes his day, it's his virtual viagra.
