Think of it another way, we have the same number of division titles that Arkansas has conference wins since we joined the SEC in football.
Our shitty BB program is 3-1 against Arkansas since joining the SEC. What does that make Arkansas?

I agree, and as a Mizzou fan I figured we would too. Of course, we can't predict the future, and back then, Haith looked like a good hire with what he did in his first year.
I think in the long run, Mizzou will be very competitive in SEC basketball and will represent the conference quite well. I still fully support Kim Anderson, I just think he needs some time to get the program going in the direction he wants it to.

It is not a question of defending them it is a point of stating the obvious because they have 2 NCAA CWS trophies in the trophy case. This is the SEC where winning such things is a big deal and a point of conference pride. Had Mizzou won the NCAA VB trophy last year I would be stating the same to point out the goodness of such a win by the Tigers.

Auburn is beating Xavier 66-64 with two minutes to go in the game. The same Xavier team who beat Missouri by 16 points earlier this year. Missouri basketball really does suck

He's going to need more than that. IF he can recruit, it won't be seen before year 3. And that is IF he can continue to recruit solid players. He did get Teki to come to Mizzou. Allen has been a pleasant surprise. None of them are UK level players but no one is or they'd go to UK. KA has a couple of what I call program players (guys that don't have the high level talent but meld with the philosophy and program he's trying to create) and now he's going to have to supplement them with some more talented recruits.

Who claimed we were a basketball school? Historically, Mizzou has been better than most schools, but that's not saying much as their are how many hundreds of schools?

I think it was established some time back, he's from kansas or had a relative that went to kU or something along those lines.
