Correct. Empty corn fields in all directions. A nice park to the south iirc, but certainly not any other cities of any size

When did Missouri only sell 3.2 beer? People from kansas have always come into KCMO to get real beer, ever since my dad with a kid. Missouri has some of the most lax liquor laws in the entire country.
He is probably thinking of Oklahoma. People in NWA drive to Missouri and Oklahoma to buy liquor on Sunday. Most go to Missouri to get real beer.

In the last decade just north of NWA.
Through me for a loop as well as my dad and his buddies would drive to Mizzou way back when to pick up Coors because you couldn't get it in Arkansas at that time (and that is what made it a big deal I guess).

Gonna make a trip to one of these two games next year to cross it off the list. For those that have been to both (probably very few) which would you recommend?
Arkansas. You'll love the stadium, scenery, etc. The call of the hog or whatever might annoy you.

How pathetic are you people? This is about Fayetteville and Columbia.
You know your city isnt shite when you have to try to combine other cities with it to make it plausible to compare to another.

No, Missouri because a bitter loss awaits at Fayetteville.

Actually the state capitol is the same distance as the cities arkytards are claiming to be apart of fayetteville. But let's not let facts get in the way.

What they are trying to say is Fayetteville is an awesome college town of about 77k. On game day there is no telling the population in the city. It has a nice bar scene close to the stadium. The surrounding scenery is stunning and beautiful as it is nestled in the Ozarks. You can see the mountains off in the distance from the top of the stadium. If the leaves are turning it is absolutely gorgeous.
There are also several other decent sized towns/cities just a short (15) minute drive up the interstate starting with Springdale, Rogers, and Bentonville. Each offers things to do/see. The towns all run together for the most part and there is around 500k people in the NWA area.

Aw snap.
I once got mad when I saw a national journalist refer to the film Winter's Bone as being set in Arkansas. I was like bitch, that was Missouri. Don't try to put that on us.

So has it been decided that Fayetteville > Columbia? because it is.
Posted on 10/10/13 at 8:23 pm to GumpMaster&Commander
this reminds me of when people from McKinney and Plano try to say they are from Dallas.

Set much closer to Fayetteville than Columbia

Yeah, Children of the Corn has more of a Columbia feel to it.

I don't know what that movie is, but feel as if I should be outraged?
Deliverance was filmed and set in Georgia, but like every thing else that has had success in life, it wasn't to be associated with Arkansas, but sorry not the case.

So the Arkansas argument is "Come to Fayetteville so you can instead go to Bentonville and Rogers."
People should be coming to your city because there are things to do there. Unless going to Wal-Mart is a priority nobody is going from Atlanta to Rogers just for the fun of it.
All of these other things you named that actually pertained to Fayettville have the same benefits as Columbia, except we have a better bar district and bigger stadium (next year). Nice try though.

That's a pretty view... but holy frick, there's no way I would want to sit up at the top of that upper endzone.

if one of your main selling points is something that isn't done yet then that tells you all you need to know.
