FBS rule is that the stadium capacity must be atleast 30,000 I think. So its around there. From what I can remember its all metal bleachers and a cramped visitors locker room. And its in Murfreesboro not Nashville.

They played in Knoxville last year. What's the difference?

They're just making sure they beat a school from Tennessee this year

Just as I predicted. Sweet response, kilo, you really got us good with that one.
So you predicted that while you are calling the back to back division champion "embarrassed" for a game that may or may not happen in 2020 you would get called out for something that is actually worthy of embarrassment, the Tennessee football program?
You are a regular rocket scientist.

No, I predicted you would not address the fact that your AD scheduled MTSU and instead would throw jabs at UT. Your silence about the actual topic tells me all I need to know.

lmao why the frick do you even care?
ut fans talking shite on Mizzou is hilarious. you couldn't even beat us in 12 & we handled you at Neyland last year. You're shite talking our 2022 schedule. 2022. That's 7 years from now. That's how far you gotta reach to chirp Mizzou.
Sad.

Simple question:
Are you ok with the fact that your AD scheduled a road game with MTSU?
Edit: and to answer your question, I have friends and family that graduated from MTSU and I lived in Murfreesboro for a year and a half. This is a good thing for that program.

I dont give a shite. We are winning and you are not. You cant beat us so here you are trying to talk trash on a game scheduled in 4 years. You are embarrassing yourself.
There is little doubt that Tennessee fans are some of the most retarded posters on this site.

Yes.
Now what? Can we talk about how shitty Tennessee has been or the fact you have never beaten Mizzou?

It appears I touched a nerve. Tennessee's futility against mizzou has nothing to do with me saying this is embarrassing for your AD, but keep up that talking point if it's comforting for you.
If you want to talk about how UT sucks, you should probably start a thread on it. I promise to give you a pity post because I'm a gentleman like that.

I really don't see much of a difference between UT and MTSU as of late. Both fanbases ecstatic for a 7-6 season

You are a mental giant. Its not embarrassing. Not winning would be embarrassing. Its really not that tough man. You really look pathetic in this thread.

Still no discussion or substance. But hey, your acrimonious replies have been impressive, however predictable they might have been.

traveling to Murfreesboro is even worse than MSU traveling to Birmingham and Mobile to play UAB and South Alabama

I don't like the games, and agree that this is not something "top" programs do often. We've made a habit of it for some reason.
I see two possible scenarios.
1. We are cheap. We don't want to buy home games so we schedule these roadies to lower tier schools to avoid it. If that's the case, I don't like it.
2. Pinkel wants these games. He wants to prepare his teams for an environment away from home before we have to go on the road in SEC play. In this case, it's pretty hard to argue with our road record.

I should've known you'd be be only Mizzou poster that would give a serious response as you are about the only decent one here.
Anyway, it would be hard to argue mizzou's success the last couple of years and I personally don't believe that it has been a fluke. If I had to put money today, I would bet mizzou to win the east again...partly because of the schedule. For a program that wants to try and take the next step to elite, this one is a head scratcher.
My feeling is neither scenario makes sense and I don't see how playing at Floyd Stadium prepares yall in any way for road play in the SEC. However, scheduling winnable OOC games isn't a terrible idea and is better than losing to an powerhouse and touting a moral victory.
All that said, this game probably gets canceled in the next few years.
