I disagree. Mizzou is going to get one of the few things that can even the field in a game like this and that's shi### monsoon weather. Really cold weather has never bothered us but a drenched ball along with a drenched field could make things interesting.

Well Mizzou doesn't perform any better in terrible weather conditions, so chalk this up as another advantage for Bama.

Mizzou will be destroyed.

D will probably hold up for a half or so then wear out, expect a Bama win along the lines of 37-10 or so.

Predicting an interception for TD for Mizzou?

Pretty solid troll here. Obviously done to say how much Bama will destroy Mizzou. 8/10. With the effort you have shown I will award you and say that Bama will in fact destroy Mizzou.

I also believe that with a few years of good recruits, Mizzou can be dangerous. Just not quite yet.

Though more Recruiting Board oriented, since you bring up the topic one interesting side note to this game is that one of the top offensive linemen prospects in the nation for 2014, Andy Bauer, is a St.Louis kid who is currently already a Mizzou commit BUT is still being recruited aggressively by Bama and seems to like them quite a bit. He is conspicuously not coming to this Bama-Mizzou game despite two programs he's very interested in participating in his back yard. He is obviously exactly the type of recruit in the trenches that Mizzou desparately needs to get if it wants to build itself up in the SEC, but if the Bama o-line comes in here and does its thing and dominates the program he is currently committed to, me thinks it could make a big impression on the young man and help Saban steal him away from us.

BAUER

I don't think you realize how shite our team is.
There I no chance whatsoever that Missouri wins this game. Alabama's 2nd string team would beat us.

I could see Mizzou keeping it close for a quarter, maybe two. They just can't handle the physical play of the SEC for 4 quarters yet. And Bama' is the most physical.

See this is the part where the perception you guys have is off. We are having a shite year due to a rash of injuries and poor offensive execution but chalking it up to SEC physicality isn't really the answer. SEC physicality doesn't explain us only scoring 24 and 21 points on Arizona State and UCF, respectively, and almost losing both games. And if you watched the Mizzou-Vandy game it was clear Vandy was definitely not "more physical." Our offensive output is just inept this year due to an injured QB, our star RB being out the whole year, and literally half our offensive line being injured and the remaining healthy ones having to all switch positions. Very very few teams in the country would survive all that without their offense going to hell.

And again, Mizzou's defense has actually been fine from a physicality standpoint. We have NOT been getting mauled up front or by SEC power running games, on the contrary we've forced our three SEC opponents to beat us through the air which to varying degrees they did. But from a physicality standpoint SEC commentators have agreed that our DT Sheldon Richardson is as physical as anyone in the SEC and our defensive ends have gotten solid pass rush against the SEC. Georgia didn't do anything against our D for three quarters and Vandy never really did a whole lot offensively, 9 of their 19 points were off Mizzou special teams miscues.

My point - we are injured as hell on offense and having a shite season as a result, but the SEC physicality hasn't played as much a role in that as one might think.

Pulled this image out of that link you posted. I think they took that thread down for some reason.

Got a chuckle from this.

The O-line injuries and our RB's debilitating knee injury all happened prior to the start of the season. Our QB injury happened vs Georgia but was an inflammation of an injury he'd been trying to recover from all summer.

Unless half of Alabamas team comes down with swine flu, there is no chance.

i didn't say that.

bama has played the blind school moles, the montgomery junior high crickets, the ohio nursing home wheelers, and the sisters of the poor saints twice.
