It was still a dumb play IMHO. You turn a 6 inch play into a 10-15 yard play with that option. They jump pass before that was epic fail too.
I just think Mullen lost his cool at that point. He got a bad case of the Houston Nutt giggity-goo moment and started calling plays that he needed Tebow for.

Man, I'm glad I wasn't here for most of this rah-tard fight, but let me jump in.
About as weak as your schedule this year except we got it done in the SEC that year. Yes, State fans will always use the Atlanta smack until you do actually go. UM always come back with Cotton Bowl b/c that's all you have.
bullshite, I'd say outside of LSU, the SEC West was weak. You guys lost to Memphis and Texas Tech. And TT was mediocre that year.
And the ole miss fans calling State stadium a POS? Your stadium is galv-alum veneer. Yee-haw!!

We came one win away from the College World Series....yea...it sucks.
But you didn't even make it to the SEC tournament. So do you even have any room to talk? The series loss to MSU had absolutely NO impact on our post season. We still hosted a regional and still hosted a super regional.
My advice about baseball......Don't talk about last year and just look forward to this coming year. You should be really good in 2010.
But congrats.....evidently taking 2/3 from us in baseball is good enough to call a season successful as well. We're honored.

We had a first year coach, who inherited a team that had a bare cupboard from the Mess Ron Polk left us with. I will guarantee that Mississippi State makes the SEC baseball tournament this year.

I know you will. But It's hilarious that you're talking shite about last year in baseball......just like you're talking shite about this past year in football.
Yea, it sucks and it was inexcusable to lose to you guys.....but did it really effect anything? You guys certainly aren't capitalizing on that win with recruiting.

I doubt State will be 'good' in 2010. Good (in baseball, to me) means making the CWS or at least hosting a regional or playing in a Super Regional.
State will be more like 'just decent', which would still be a lot better than the past couple of seasons. We are still suffering the effects of Polkbation. We could be good by 2011, though.
