Pank give it up, you cant win when you have people from other schools argueing against you.

State + Madkin = SEC WEST CHAMPS

Ole Miss + Eli = SEC WEST CO-Champs and no Atlanta

This thread is highly entertaining.

The zenith may be when the basketball and baseball stats came into a topic about a football stadium.

ok...but would you agree that a game(which resulted in a loss) from over a decade ago is completely irrelevant?

I would say that winning our second straight Cotton Bowl this year is way more relevant right now than a SECCG loss a decade ago, wouldn't you?

But of course....don't get me wrong. I, like every other fan, want to win the SECW and SEC.

Yeah it is. But until Ole Miss gets a chance to lose an SECCG I'd be easy on the poop slinging.

In concurrent years, yes.

But 1999 SEC Championship game loss <<< 2 consecutive Cotton Bowl wins in 2 years.

I promise you no recruit is enamored with you SECCG appearance from a decade ago. These recruits were 7,8, or 9 years old when that happened. They cared more about the power rangers than they did watching your football game.

Just like, in 10 years, recruits won't give a damn about a game played today.

This is true.

The only way that SEC championship game appearance is relevant for State is because we haven't had one, and it's something you have on us.

When was the last time you actually won the SEC?
1947?

Kentucky has won the SEC in football since State. GT too, and they left the SEC in the mid-60s.

This. And it's why I could care less about their loss to Tennessee. The worst thing that could happen to MSU fans would be for Ole Miss to participate in the SECCG. Then they would have to resort to Basketball and Baseball smack.

...oh wait...they already do. I'm looking at you kb79.

The funny thing with that is that we've been alot better than them at Baseball over the past 5 years.
They came in dead last in the SEC last year.

But their series win over us made it ok......while we went to the SECT Championship game and hosted our own Regional and SR, they talked smack about how they beat us.

Kinda like this past year in Football.

Just for clarification, whoever stated that State's board is standard definition, that is a complete lie. Check your facts the largest video board in the SEC is in fact, HD.
