Nah, it's because y'all are pussies that want to hide out. (Not all of you but enough to lock the board from outsiders.)

regardless of who's QB, we're going to load the box and force either Russell or Prescott to beat us throwing to a pretty mediocre WR group. We did a decent job of limiting Ark State's run game and forcing their QB to beat us... he put up good numbers, but ASU's passing game is probably better than MSU's (at least right now).

Right now, we're not a good enough defense to play people straight-up... we've gotta gameplan to take away one aspect and that leaves us volnerable in other aspects -- against Wazzou, we sold out to stop the pass and they busted several runs against us... against ASU, we loaded up to stop the run and let their QB pick us apart to an extent.

I don't think MSU is good enough offensively to make us pay through the air.

true, to an extent... I think that's why getting to the corners on the jet sweeps, and read-option plays is critical for our offense. Neither secondary is what you'd call a team strength, but I'm not sure either team can make the other pay for it.

Our QB's can make the throws and we do have a new crop of WR's that can go up and get it. What we worry about is, when Ryssell is in the game, we become too one dimensional. Every one keys in on the RB knowing TR can't run it, at least not very well. Plus we'll keep running the same plays over and over. Regardless, of which QB is in the game, we need a good balanced of play calling, we'll be just fine.

I know the Barners are favored by 6 but they will be looking ahead to LSU and MSU is starting to come together.

A team that hasn't win an SEC game in over a year is going to look ahead to LSU? great logic.

so your dumbass logic for picking an upset has been thrown back in your face and now you're using it as justification for your pick?

if you'd just said in your OP that 'auburn sucks, state by 2 TDs' to begin with, you wouldn't have looked like such an idiot.

I admit my logic is completely retarded in the OP.

However, it was a good way to get the Barners to remind me how long it's been since they won an SEC game.

Nevertheless...

Who said Auburn was?

Gus Malzahn is going to try to run it down Mississippi State's throat with Cam Artis-Payne, Tre Mason, and Corey Grant. And we've started off the year with two consecutive games of nearly 300 yards rushing (295 against Washington State, 301 against Arkansas State). And after the Auburn offense finds some success, you will see passes down field and roll outs with Nick Marshall.

This is not the same Auburn team from last year, I assure you of that.

FYI: I haven't predicted who I think will win this game.

I promise you our front 7 is a whole lot better than Wazzzu's and Ark State. Your scat backs will shite their drawers when seeing the size of our DT's and size and speed of our LB's.

They see them everyday in practice. Only difference is the ones in practice are good.
