I didn't know you were a gun for hire.

Sad that the grinders need others to grind for them this year. That program was on the cusp of not being embarrassing and boy have they fallen fast

Why would they look ahead to LOLSU?

Exactly. They know they have to take care of their rivalry game first. I doubt they are caught looking ahead.

you realize we haven't won an SEC game in in 22 months, right?... if we're "looking ahead", then we should fire every coach on staff and burn the AD down to the ground.

That's depressing as hell when you put it that way.

Dont think so. AU's D is not stellar but AU has better players and a coach this year.
Auburn-31
State-20

What's depressing is there wouldn't be such a thing as "grindfest" at all if Auburn wouldn't have let State be born on third and grow up thinking they hit a triple last year. Auburn football owes the rest of us an apology and a win this week. #dakfenseisRelf2.0

the OP is an idiot. State may win, but his logic makes no sense. I can't even remember the last SEC game we won... Ole Miss 2011?

Not two years in a row. Kinda doubt that.
Although State has a decent chance of winning.

Meh, maybe. The state fans talking about how good their defense is aren't making much sense to me though. The only good team they've played put up some rushing on them and that's what AU will try to do.

We'll see

Now I'm not so excited to be falsely accused of being your alter.

However you are entitled to your opinion...

We don't have to worry about yall airing it out. We did have to worry about that with them and made them run. We will stop the run with yall and make you pass.

OP is a moron. Auburn covers easily. Mason, CAP, and Grant are going to run it down the grinder's throat. Not to mention it is a night game in JHS.

Just for reference, when and against whom was the last night SEC game at JHSPDFCNLA?

I hope so, but I know I won't be lucky enough to watch them suffer that badly.

We'll see

The team we held to 146 passing yards that averaged 331 last year? The team we held to 21 that averaged 45.7 last year? All this in spite of a shittastic offensive performance -- and the loss of 2 defensive starters early in the game?

We gave up about 60 yards over their average from last year on the ground -- basically all in a new wrinkle to the read option that we were obviously unsuited to stop after totally selling out to stop the pass.

This MSU defense is good enough to shut down the primary thing you want to do. I'm not pretending they are a dynasty or have the ability to "do it all" -- but they will take away your first option. We will find out is if Marshall can beat us with his arm...

Then again -- rumor is we're starting Russell -- so I don't expect much out of our offense. The pressure will almost definitely be on the defense...
