Call me crazy, but Im actually pretty excited about spring practice and this fall's upcoming season. I think that Coach Mullen has our program headed in the right direction and think that he can get us to 6 or 7 wins this year and a bowl game. Im also anxious to see how our new DC Manny Diaz is going to do with our defense that is returning 9 starters.

There are 2 guys at the top of the depth chart.

Chris Relf 6'3" 240 running style QB
Tyler Russell 6'5" 225 passing style QB

Patrick Hanrahan? He started every game for us last year at FB, and from what I have been hearing he may get to carry the ball some for us this year.

You should come down. Us Florida fans aren't as bad as most people try to portray us.

At least not the ones I have always been associated with.

How does MSU look at the skill positions and at offensive line?

Skill positions, we have Chad Bumphis who ran all over ole miss last year and is used just like percy harvin was. At Running Back we have about 4 or 5 guys that will carry the load, the leader are probably Robert Elliott, Montrell Conner and/or Vick Ballard.

At offensive line we could have the best o-line we have had in years. All-SEC performer Derek Sherrod anchors the left side and Sr. J.C Brignone will most likely be the starting center. Tobias Smith a highly touted lineman that has been injured for much of his career could have a chance to start at right guard and be very helpful for our team. all in all we will be very good in the trenches this year (barring injuries of course).

Bumphis will be pretty good though I think.

Well, sounds like MSU could be dangerous this year, especially if Mullen has the players he needs on offense.

What else does MSU have at WR, because in order for the system to work well, Mullen needs at least 8 WR that can legitimately be counted on to provide good snaps in a game.

All 5 starting O-linemen coming back including an all sec caliber LT in Sherrod.

Skill wise, we have all of our top WR's back we have to replace all SEC RB Anthony Dixon, and we have a rising JR in Robert Elliot along with a JUCO all american in Vick Ballard, and also Redshirt FR Montrell CHOO CHOO Connor.

We should be better all around skilled than last year.
